Wabi-Sabi: Perfectly Imperfect
Today’s movement is inspired by wabi-sabi—the Japanese philosophy of finding beauty in imperfection. Your balance may be off. Your strength may not be where you want it to be. That’s okay. There is no perfect body or perfect movement practice. Show up as you are, embrace where you are, and keep growing without the need to be perfect.

Embracing Impermanence
One of the core Zen teachings is impermanence, everything is always changing. We don’t need to stay forever young, but we can stay vibrant by moving gently every day. This body will change and age, and that’s part of life. Through consistent movement, we support vitality while learning to accept the natural unfolding of time.

Attitude Is Everything
No matter which great teacher I learn from, the message often comes back to attitude. From Viktor Frankl in Man's Search for Meaning, to Wayne Dyer saying, “Attitude is everything, so pick a good one,” to Dick Van Dyke reminding us to never see ourselves as old, it all points in the same direction. Today we move with an attitude of resilience, wonder, and possibility. The way we see ourselves matters. Move well.

@Drew Hopper Phoenix not so great (the high was already up to 98 when we were there😕😬) but San Diego is amazing!
