Help me choose an author photo. Thx!
Trying to choose author photo for upcoming book and would like the help of the community. Three choices below. (Two dog pics very similar, but different facial expression, serious vs playful; book is fairly serious, so not sure what is the right look. My photographer likes the playful one, I like the more serious one, so interested to know what others think.) Click on photos to see full, uncropped version. Thanks!

The no dog pic is the most serious. I am a dog lover, so I like the more approachable one with the dog and your warm smile.
The publishing journey
I completed my first book in September 2025. Just secured my editor in November as well as a cover designer. What a learning curve to the publishing world. I am blessed to have found the prior editor of the Chicago Tribune as my advocate. I am a retired social worker, educator, and pastor's wife. The title to my book is: Grace in the Cracks, A Southern Girl's Tale of Wild Faith and Reckless Redemption.

Thank you for the kind words and moral support. Would any of you consider telling me how you organize your book files, downloads, backups, etc. A little nervous about receiving downloads with editor corrections, saving revisions and securing final revision.
Changing Title Questions
I am going through the self publish and succeed course now. And I have a finished manuscript, been through three edits. I am working with my artist to finalize cover art. And now I need to learn about self publishing. One of the things recommended to me, is to keep a short title. My current working title is "The Baby Boomers Guide To Bitcoin". I am thinking of shortening it to "Bitcoin for Boomers" or Bitcoin For Babyboomers." What do you folks think? Any ideas?

I liked Bitcoin Bible because it is easy to remember and identifies the subject with authority. I like subtitles because they tell a little more. Good luck.
