Library of Congress registering
Hello, I have my book. It is ready to publish. I am working on my marketing plan. I have purchased my ISBNs. I go to get it registered on the Library of Congress. And I get to the part where it asks me to list the ISBNs for each format. However it tells me that my ISBN number format is incorrect. I have copied them directly from Bowker. But it will not accept them. I tried it repeatedly with and without dashes. It specified 13 digits. I counted the digits and it was correct. I navigated away from the page to look for a help of some sort. There is no help or tech support. And I lost all of my data. Anyone have any idea how to fill out this form correctly?

ISBN Question
I understand its possible to use the same ISBN number for KDP and Ingram if both are the same format such as paperback. Is this correct? Also is this possible with electronic format, or audio book? What about the different electronic formats do they need separate a ISBN?

Video was good. But I am having a techincal problem. And they don't seem to have any type of technical support. Well It was a waste of time anyway. Since I am not going to wait another 3 months to just get that number.
The close of 2025 and welcoming 2026
As I close the chapter on 2025 and look ahead to 2026, I find myself pausing to reflect on all the blessings that have illuminated my authoring path this past year. From the stories I’ve been able to tell in my books to the conversations I’ve shared on podcasts heard around the world, to the comradery within this community, I have so much to be grateful for—and so much to look forward to. I’m especially excited to share some of my plans for 2026. I have two books currently ready for publication, and a third beginning to come into focus. I’m excited to present on webinars this year—one already lined up—and I will be returning to Author Nation and Reader Nation this November. Beyond these projects, I’m also refreshing my website, experimenting with video shorts, being a guest on several more podcasts, and exploring other new and exciting ideas. For a small taste of what’s coming, I’m sharing one of several “pairings” from my soon-to-be-published book, Grace and Love – Marriage Outtakes, Family Bloopers, and 50 Years of Heartwarming Moments. This project is very close to my heart, as I’ll be celebrating my 50th wedding anniversary in April. The book is built on small, everyday moments that still make me smile. Here’s one excerpt to give you a taste of Grace and Love together: Grace is living together long enough to accept that the thermostat war will never be won — only paused. It’s the lifelong battle of cooler versus warmer, fought season after season, decade after decade. Love is laughing about who touched it last, being empty nesters and knowing the answer before the question is even finished. It’s settling into a small nightly truce where the temperature is just right for sleep — fully aware the war will quietly resume with the morning light. Just imagine fifty moments like this. I want to thank you for your time, your generosity, and for welcoming me into your community. I’m grateful for the conversations we’ve shared, and I look forward to seeing what 2026 brings.

@Author Mas Jasmine I plan on publishing on Ingram Spark and KDP. I havent started the process yet. I am getting my ISBNs and finalizing my cover details. A few minor changes. And I am trying to come up with a marketing plan that is effective and affordable. I went through Julie's course and read her book on how to self publish. I am following her guidelines.

@Author Mas Jasmine Ok. I will look at it. How successful have you been with selling your book? What kind of return have you received for your investment?
Copyright Change
Hello everyone. As I am down the rabbit hole of trying to self publish. I have run into an additional problem. I had already submitted my book to US Copyright office with my old title. Its currently in the processing status. Does anyone know how I can change this since I have redone the title using the guidelines of this site? Is there a way to change it in process? Thanks.
