You're gladly welcome here @Ukeme Patrick
Greetings.
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to the group. I am a General Contractor in Central Florida. We mainly do concrete and masonry work on commercial projects. I look forward to learning AI in streamlining, and growing our business.

You're welcome @Tony Lorenzo, It's so great to have you here. You’re in a solid position already. Trades like concrete and masonry benefit a lot from using AI on the backend, quotes, follow-ups, scheduling without touching the quality of the actual work. If you get that part right, you’ll move faster than most without losing control. By the way, what part of your workflow slows you down the most right now? @Tony Lorenzo
Greetings
Hello everyone from Dublin Ireland. Looking to learn more of Project management industry nuggets (Project planning & scheduling / Digital Techie).

@Lara Ekundayo Glad it’s helping, And thanks to @Tim Fairley Scheduling is actually one of those roles where small efficiency gains make a big difference. More so, what part of your scheduling work feels most repetitive right now and could be streamlined without losing the human touch?
What’s up, I’m new here
Been working in construction and figured I’d share what I learn along the way.

You're Welcome @Alex Carter It's so great sharing approach learn is the fastest way to grow in this space. Moreover, what kind of construction work are you currently focused on?
Your bid isn’t the problem… this is
I’ve been taking time to really understand bidding beyond just estimating, and one thing stands out… Bidding isn’t just about the price. It’s about getting both your price and your terms right so the job actually makes sense for you. At the end of the day, you’re not just submitting numbers, you’re making an offer to take on a project in a way that should be profitable and sustainable. A lot of mistakes happen when we focus only on “how much” and ignore “under what conditions.” By the way, what part of bidding do you find most challenging right now: pricing, scope or terms?

@Tim Fairley That’s a great way to put it. A lot of people treat estimating like it’s just crunching numbers but the real risk (and profit) is usually in the contract details. One can have a perfect estimate and still lose money if the terms aren’t in his or her favor. So @Tim Fairley, How do you usually handle that side, do you adjust standard contracts or mostly work with what’s given?
