So I did with someone told me to and switched up my format. Things have been doing good for a couple of weeks but now my post have gone back to what I was getting before. It’s weird because the last video I posted got 12 comments, but the views capped out at 350 which is crazy. The only thing that changed was the fact that I posted a TikTok story. Any advice ?

I feel like I’m spread to thin. I started an underground music page and built a small following of people who fw me. Working on the page is fun but it’s taking away from me being able to create songs and streaming(using the streams to build a community). I understand personal brands are important but I feel like having a media platform I use to boost my own signal and other people can be a great asset. What do yall think?

I make music and I’m based in Romania. Some time ago, the Cooking with Kya trend was blowing up on TikTok, so I made a song inspired by that vibe. At first glance, it’s just a regular trap song — not directly about Kya — but around the halfway mark, there’s a bridge where I say: “cooking hits in the studio, I don’t wanna cook with Kya,” followed by the iconic sample: “cooking with Kya, cooking with Kya.” It’s been a while since then, but I recently managed to shoot the video, and I’m planning to release the song in a few weeks. Now I’m brainstorming marketing ideas and would love your input. Recently, I became friends with an African-American girl, and I thought it might be fun to create TikToks with her, playing around with the idea that “Kya came to Romania” or “here’s Kya in my studio” — something funny and relatable that gives the illusion that she is Kya. What do you think? Any other ideas or angles I should try?
