Discomfort
Comfort zones are a weird thing. They feel safe, but staying in them often has little benefit. Every once in a while I will be asked to lead worship at church (and this is majorly out of my comfort zone). I find myself shaking and full of anxiety every time I am up on stage. Before we start the actual set, I have to remind myself that it isn’t about me at all. I am there to convey a bigger message. I just have to let go and let the words come out of my mouth. When I just let the Lord work and take me out of my comfort zone, that is when movement and change really starts to happen. We start to trust Him more and more.

That is such a powerful perspective! It’s amazing how the moments that make us the most nervous are often where God does the biggest work. I love how you shift your focus from yourself to the big picture of how He is using you to convey His message😄
Christmas plans
Work has been crazy busy and stressful, but I still made sure that I took some time off to go visit family for Christmas. It will only be a few days, but it is a much needed break

I feel the same way with work as well! I'm glad we can have at least a little bit of time to celebrate the birth of Jesus and spend time with our loved ones 😊

Hey guys! I’m Aubrie Theis, I am 21, I live and grew up outside of Arlington Ohio! I am a cosmetologist:) I really wish I could ball room dance! What is your go to dance move?

Hi Aubrie! I'm glad you're here and I'm excited to take this journey with you! 😄 I also wish I could ball room dance! I feel like that would be so cool to be able to do and show off at any formal dance! Which is way better than my go to macarena😅
Serious Question
This is the age old question ... But is it to early to be listening to Christmas music? If no, then what song do you like the most? If yes, when is the right time??

I think it's the perfect time to listen to Christmas music! I love most Christmas music, but I find myself wanting to listen to "It's beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas" by Micheal Buble or "The Christmas Song" by Nat King Cole.
Introduction
Hi everybody! I'm Jaycee 👋 I am from Mabank, TX and now live in Van, TX (I lived in Alaska for 3 years and Colorado for 3 years in between). I kinda wish I was good at some sort of martial art or self-defense. I'm a wife and also a mom of a 3 year old so I stay busy raising her, and I'm a Christian singer-songwriter/musician.

Hi Jaycee!!! I'm excited to take this journey with you! 😊 I think it's so cool that you lived in Alaska and Colorado at one point in your life! What would you say was your favorite part about living in those places?
