Just Passed My Salesforce Admin Exam 🤞🏾
Grateful for the Pathway to Salesforce Community 🙏 Breaking into the Salesforce ecosystem is not easy, especially when you're coming from a different background and trying to figure out where to start. But having the right people in your corner makes all the difference. I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Godwin Mbah and the entire Pathway to Salesforce mentorship community. From day one, the guidance, encouragement, and resources shared in this program have been invaluable to my journey. I still remember when I first joined the program. I came in with a little experience already under my belt, thinking I had a decent idea of where I stood. But Mr. Mbah saw something in me that pushed me further. His encouragement from that very first interaction didn't just validate where I was, it made me hungry to do more, learn more, and reach higher than I had originally planned for myself. Mr. Mbah, your dedication to helping people like me break into this ecosystem doesn't go unnoticed. You didn't just teach us Salesforce, you showed us what it looks like to give back and lift others up. That means more than I can put into words. I'm still on my journey, still learning, still pushing forward, but I'm moving with confidence because of the foundation this community helped me build. To anyone out there wondering if the Salesforce ecosystem is for them - find your community, find your mentors, and don't give up. The path is real. Thank you Pathway to Salesforce. Thank you Mr. Godwin Mbah.

Progress Update: Data Modeling in Salesforce – And I’m Actually Enjoying It!
Just wrapped up a powerful hands-on assignment where I built a complete data model inside Salesforce and I have to say, this is where things start getting really fun. Here’s what I worked on: ✅Created three custom objects: -Student -Course -Instructor ✅ Designed meaningful fields with the right data types (Email, Picklist, Date, Number, etc.) ✅ Built relationships the right way: -Master-Detail relationships -Lookup relationships -A Many-to-Many relationship using a Junction Object (Course_Enrollment) That junction object was the real brain workout 🧠 understanding how one student can enroll in multiple courses and one course can have multiple students really made the architecture click for me. Then I took it further: 🔥 Created a Roll-Up Summary field to automatically count how many students are enrolled in each course. 🔥 Customized List Views to make the data clean and easy to access. I also attempted to build automation using Flow so enrollments could be created automatically from the Student record. I ran into a snag I couldn’t fully resolve, but troubleshooting it actually helped me better understand how record-triggered flows connect and execute. Even though it didn’t fully work yet, the learning process was valuable. What I’m enjoying most is seeing how everything connects. At first, relationships felt confusing. But once I understood how Salesforce structures data, it started to feel like building a real system — not just completing an assignment. This project really showed me how powerful proper data modeling is. It’s not just about creating objects — it’s about designing something that mirrors real business processes. Still learning. Still building. 🚀 And I Give Thanks to our Mentors for giving us this opportunity!!!! #PathwayToSalesforce #DataModeling #LearningByDoing
