Part 1 of full build is now in classroom! Check it out!
The first (& I think the most crucial part) of the course has been uploaded now. The architecture & planning which covers - Foundation PRD - Screens - Database - Security 80% of the effort in AI coding is in the planning stages.. Direct link: https://www.skool.com/idea-to-app-3209/classroom/e615a87c?md=a1d211fa36054a728054afe698e5541f The remaining videos are coming. I'm traveling & its harder/slower to review etc. It took about 15 hours to record & a lot more hours & people to edit. Editing/reviewing etc is a slow process but a lot of people have been asking for this already. Looking forward to hearing feedback & see how everyone learns along the journey. Drop comments as you watch here!

Thanks a lot for this! I don't check my Skool notifications often, but I came back to check just for this!
100+ members! (Some announcements/requests)
Wow... When I started this I didn't expect this many this quickly. Thank-you very much everyone for joining. The plan isn't to make this just a course but a true community with engaging discussions. There are a lot of interesting discussions around deployment/backend/tech etc happening. Keep them coming. Here is what is planned/upcoming - 0 to production SaaS recorded. It is editing & being uploaded soon. Hopefully some parts start going live next week. Had the code base audited by a backend dev & he was scared at its quality! - I'm traveling for August & I know many others who are also on holidays. I may be a bit silent. But definitely expect more engagement September onwards. Question about Live Q&A: - The current time covers Asia/Australia/US West coast. - I'm wondering if I do 1 week at the current scheduled time & 1 week at an evening time to overlap with Europe/US East Coast. - What do you guys think? Requests - A lot of people have praised the 70 minute crash course. May I share those comments on the about page? Please dm a quick ok or drop a comment below. - Would love to grow this community to 200+ members. Please do refer to others to join as well! Thanks! Enjoy the weekend.

@Zubair Kakakhel I've played around with Lovable before so it wasn't super new. But the approach of building from a template felt more secure as I was able to read through the changes that were happening. I've got a little full stack experience from before Bubble days (bootcamp), so reading through the code gave me confidence LOL. I really wanna build a couple of test projects in the next 2 weeks and score an easy project soon!
Bigger picture about AI coding vs No code
Hey @Zubair Kakakhel thanks for creating this group, I’m really looking forward to the discussions and content here! I’m really curious to hear your thoughts on the bigger picture. Yes you told the story of a few clients switching to AI code and leaving Bubble/no code. In terms of your reasons for changing your agency approach, is your new approach primarily time and cost driven, or are there also aspect of increasing quality of your work / reliability of your agency process (eg generating standard UXUI vs hand designing everything) / the flexibility of what you can achieve (eg overcoming limitations of no code platforms) / being able to service new markets (eg sectors where Bubble isn’t a good fit) / anything else? Also curious to know about how this changes marketing message, both for devs and agencies. Bubble is a great brand for building a freelance career or agency, as when people find and want Bubble, they then want a Bubble developer! I think many here will have experienced this. Often full stack devs lead with their main tools, or jobs advertise for a specific tool. But with AI code, it’s a bit more general. Do you now say you run an “AI code agency”? Or are you more focused on the outcome “we help you solve your problem” and the tool is less relevant. So many questions I have! I have no particular view on these things at this point, and I’m looking forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts!

Amazing discussion guys, I'm so glad to have joined this community. Here's my 2 cents as a freelancer: In my experience, the number of Bubble jobs I'm seeing and getting on Upwork have decreased by a lot. High paying jobs no longer show up, and the ones that eventually do have a lot of applicants to them. Moreover, I personally feel that the overall "feel" of an AI-generated app is much better than a typical Bubble app. My only qualms on AI-generated apps are that: 1) Advanced logic seems difficult to implement (due to my own disconnect from code) 2) Security features don't come out of the box (Once again, my own shortcoming) I plan on improving in these areas though! I don't want the AI wave to wash me aside lol. PS. I'll be documenting my journey on X: https://x.com/aleemansari__ PPS. I hope you make more useful content @Zubair Kakakhel

Welcome! Introduce Yourself & What You're Building 👇
Hey everyone, welcome to Idea to App! To kick things off, let's get to know each other. Please copy and paste the template below and post your own introduction in the comments. 1. Who are you? (Your name and what you do) 2. What's your app idea? (Don't worry if it's just a rough concept! We're all at different stages.) 3. What's the #1 thing holding you back right now? (e.g., "I don't know where to start," "I'm stuck on a technical problem," "I need to find my first users.") Don't be shy! Answering these questions is the best way for me to know how I can help you, and for you to connect with other members who might be on the exact same journey. I'll read and reply to every single introduction. So excited to have you here. Let's get building!

I'm Aleem, a Bubble developer who genuinely fears that Bubble is dying. I don't have an app idea. I haven't been able to focus towards AI development since I was too caught up with client work and some other commitments (just had a baby, woohoo!), but I feel like it's high time I focus on this front and spend at least a couple hours learning how to code (again) with AI (this time). I hope you'll make some good content for us to learn from @Zubair Kakakhel PS. I'll be documenting my journey on my X account: https://x.com/aleemansari__ feel free to follow along :)
