Need topics for next videos
Hi everyone, I've recorded the crash course, it's up in the classroom already. Now, also recorded a whole bunch of content around building the whole link in bio app. It's still editing and not there yet in classroom. But I'm still looking for ideas for what next to record/post. What topics are everybody interested in? This is to be a completely open discussion - what would you like to know, understand, learn.

But if you want some ideas for what is next @Zubair Kakakhel, check out the curriculum for our Momentum Academy course. It covers learning to build apps in Bubble from beginner to pro. I would genuinely LOVE to see how to do the same process in AI coding…our curriculum overview is on the landing page. (This isn’t a plug for our course, it’s more just saying that we have carefully thought through what someone needs to learn to build apps properly, so it’s a ready made list of topics to cover in the AI coding world as much as the Bubble world. Happy to grant you access @Zubair Kakakhel if that helps in your planning) https://www.loom.com/share/cb028fa14fa040789e398bd9d736af77
Bigger picture about AI coding vs No code
Hey @Zubair Kakakhel thanks for creating this group, I’m really looking forward to the discussions and content here! I’m really curious to hear your thoughts on the bigger picture. Yes you told the story of a few clients switching to AI code and leaving Bubble/no code. In terms of your reasons for changing your agency approach, is your new approach primarily time and cost driven, or are there also aspect of increasing quality of your work / reliability of your agency process (eg generating standard UXUI vs hand designing everything) / the flexibility of what you can achieve (eg overcoming limitations of no code platforms) / being able to service new markets (eg sectors where Bubble isn’t a good fit) / anything else? Also curious to know about how this changes marketing message, both for devs and agencies. Bubble is a great brand for building a freelance career or agency, as when people find and want Bubble, they then want a Bubble developer! I think many here will have experienced this. Often full stack devs lead with their main tools, or jobs advertise for a specific tool. But with AI code, it’s a bit more general. Do you now say you run an “AI code agency”? Or are you more focused on the outcome “we help you solve your problem” and the tool is less relevant. So many questions I have! I have no particular view on these things at this point, and I’m looking forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts!

Thanks @Zubair Kakakhel I watched your vibe framing video and I was impressed... Well you gave me one marketing idea already... "We'll make your [Lovable | Bolt | etc] app work"! 😂

After starting to play with ChatGPT seriously in the last few weeks, I'm convinced that any white collar / knowledge worker, who can document all of their relevant background knowledge into accurate technical writing, and learn how to prompt an LLM to read it and return the data in the way their job requires, could automate 80% or more of their work, and actually produce better work, right now, today, with the models we already have. These models are masters at following instructions, and especially good at doing so with large amounts of data, when prompted correctly. It seems like the major limitation right now is people who can prompt them in a way to get out what they want. Incidentally, I just read an article in one of our Aussie newspapers about a guy who got a full refund on a $100k car... by loading all the court cases about consumer car cases into chatGPT, and being his own lawyer. Others said it would have taken years for the guy to have gained the understanding of the law that this guy showed. https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=how+chatgpt+helping+this+driver+get+a+refund+on+his+ev&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&safe=active App building is no different! Which makes a company like Lovable raising $150mil at a $2bil val (in progress at least - per TechCrunch) absolutely insane. Who are these investors? Do they know something we don't? Because you've just outlined how to do the same thing using Claude, VSCode, Github etc after 6 months messing around as a small agency. Does Lovable have some magic that us mere mortals cannot comprehend? Or are their investors deluded???
Welcome! Introduce Yourself & What You're Building 👇
Hey everyone, welcome to Idea to App! To kick things off, let's get to know each other. Please copy and paste the template below and post your own introduction in the comments. 1. Who are you? (Your name and what you do) 2. What's your app idea? (Don't worry if it's just a rough concept! We're all at different stages.) 3. What's the #1 thing holding you back right now? (e.g., "I don't know where to start," "I'm stuck on a technical problem," "I need to find my first users.") Don't be shy! Answering these questions is the best way for me to know how I can help you, and for you to connect with other members who might be on the exact same journey. I'll read and reply to every single introduction. So excited to have you here. Let's get building!

Hi everyone! I’m here to learn and understand how others in a similar professional space are using AI in building digital products. I don’t have a specific project in mind, time is my main barrier but this stuff is also super interesting/powerful so I’m trying to make the time! Thanks for putting this together Zubair!!
