🚀 New Video: Jev + Opus 5.5 Just Killed AI Slop. Here's Proof
If you've been getting AI slop in your outputs, pairing Opus 5.5 with Jev eliminates it. Opus 5.5 is Anthropic's newest model and it writes a lot better. Jev can't write a single word — it only checks. One writes, the other checks everything before it goes out. I ran three weeks of my own AI news through it: 1,300+ stories in, about 200 out. - Two kinds of slop, two doors. Slop with nothing in it (nothing specific, nothing new, or it just wants a DM/click/sale) can't be fixed — you throw it out. Slop that sounds like a machine can be completely true and still read like filler — that one you rewrite. The first kind comes in with what your AI reads; the second goes out with what your AI writes. Jev stands at both doors. - Why Jev and not just a big model. Jev never writes — you give it text and a question, and the only answers allowed are the ones you wrote down, each with a confidence number. Under a second per item, ~4¢ per million tokens in, answers free. At that price you stop sampling and check every item. A frontier model costs 100x+ more per check — at 1,000 items a day that's $400–700/mo versus about $2.50. Small judge on everything, big model only on what it's unsure about. (Anthropic's own docs say the same: lightweight model in front as a screen.) - The rule that makes it work. The writer never grades its own work. A prompt with ten writing rules just hopes all ten land; checking each rule on its own tells you which one missed. If a check fails, the draft goes back to Opus with only the failed checks as feedback — two rewrites max, then it posts the link with no write-up. A bad write-up never posts. My take: this isn't about news. AI made writing almost free but it didn't make reading free — a Stanford study found 4 in 10 office workers got AI work in one month that looked finished and said nothing, ~2 hours each to deal with. Same gate works on customer replies, sales emails, or anything before you publish. The only thing that changes per box is what happens when the checker is down: a news feed can fail open, a customer reply fails closed.

This is actually a really good use of Jev. I tend to use another AI agent to do the checking but since Jev is so much cheaper I guess you can check for more things and be specific about what you are checking for. The speed is a nice plus too.

Claude Desktop just got its own browser — and Cowork can drive it
Verified — and this shipped for real on Aug 27, not just a leak. Here's the short post: Claude Desktop just got its own browser — and Cowork can drive it The leak from two weeks ago just shipped. This one actually changes what your agent can do 👇 What's live: a built-in browser inside the Claude Desktop app that Cowork can use directly. No Chrome extension, no permissions dialog, no dependency on Google. The key details: → It's isolated — runs separately from your personal browser. Claude isn't touching your everyday Chrome profile. → Login handled two ways: manually, or import cookies site by site. Banking, email, and SSO sites stay UNCHECKED by default. Smart default. → The browser lives in the desktop app, so it needs to stay open — but you can steer the session from web or mobile while it runs. → It opens automatically when a task needs it. You don't launch it, Claude does. My take: This is the "super app" play. Anthropic is quietly making Claude the one window you never close — chat, agent, files, and now web, all in one place. OpenAI shipped a cloud browser for ChatGPT Work days earlier. Everyone's converging on the same shape. But the interesting bit is the isolation choice. By keeping the browser separate from your real profile, Anthropic traded convenience for safety — Claude can't act inside your logged-in Notion or Gmail unless you deliberately import that cookie. Given that browser agents are a live prompt-injection target, that's the right call, even though it means more setup. For builders and operators: This unlocks web automation for tools with no API. Vendor portals, internal dashboards, Search Console, lead research, anything that only exists behind a login. Cowork can now log in and work there as part of a scheduled task. That's a real category of client work that just got automatable. Think invoice collection across vendor portals, weekly reporting pulls, competitor monitoring — jobs that used to need a human clicking or a fragile scraper.

Won 2nd place in the Coding Competition at Aloysius Fest, conducted by St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University) 💪🔥 Met Mohd Anas and many others building insane stuff! It was Awesome to meet everyone cooking up something! This competition helped me understand where I stand in the ladder when it comes to actual problem solving and coding. Will be lvling up my skills and building insane stuffs in the future! (The quality of the picture is not that good, but gotta keep it raw🫡 )
