Do you have a fear of people?
Would it surprise you to hear many coaches do, and you may be one of them? Many, many coaches have a fear of bothering people, of contacting people, enrolling people and it can heavily impact the growth of your business. You will know if you have it, though probably haven't labeled it a fear and put it down to a not liking, "I don't like to bother people" I don't like to impose" I don't like to be pushy" you get the drift. This is where you put the reps in, there is no replacement for doing your own work, either with a 121 coach, a training or peer coaching, do any and all work as it comes up and never expect to not have any more work to do. As coaches we have the luxury of knowing how to reframe, so how can you start to reframe your fears, or don't likes, so they stop holding you back in your business? Much love Jules xx

Not ALL people, but I will admit to having a fear of a many of them! This had me reflect on 'who am I ok about bothering vs who do I avoid bothering?' and I didn't come up with many in the 1st category 😆 As I think about it some more, it is not them that I fear, but what I imagine their response to me will be and then what I will make that mean about me. What is ridiculous is how I allow that meaning about me to become real before I even pick up the phone or type the email 😧
How are those pesky rules going?
Are you breaking any? Noticing any? What differences if any, are you seeing? Much love Jules xx

Broke a rule I didn't even know I had today! I tidied up my desk because it was a mess and had been annoying me for ages, but I seem to have had a rule that said I couldn't waste time and procrastinate by cleaning my desk when I had work to do! 😆 Desk now clean, mind feeling a lot less cluttered, still no other work done but making a start 🙂

Oh no, I missed this! Will a recording be available?
What eyes are you using?
How often do you remember you can choose your experience of something, beore it even begins? I watched a training recently, one I'd watched a number of times but this time I decided to watch it as if it was the first time I’d ever seen it. Not with the “I know this already” lens. Not with the mental notes of what I’d heard before. I deliberately decided to sit down with fresh eyes, as though it was brand new, to stay connected and find more gold. And find it I did. By carving out that time, by showing up with curiosity instead of yeah, yeah, already know this I created the space for magic to appear. For new insights to hit me and new ideas to take action on. It got me thinking, again, how often in life do we dull the potential gold that's available? How often do I decide what something will be like before I arrive, shutting the door on the possibility of surprise? I know I'm not alone. It’s easy to slip into autopilot: same meeting, same people, same story, same result, yet nothing is ever really the same. The moment we decide there is more to see, we open up the potential to something new. What's waiting for us when we drop the blinkers of expectation? Because expectation narrows us, while curiosity expands us. When we lead from fresh eyes, we don’t just change our experience. We change the experience for everyone we are with. People can feel when you’re actually present with them. So today I’m inviting you to explore: How can you show up as if it’s the first time? What magic might appear if you stop assuming you already know? Fresh eyes don’t just change what we see. They change everything around us. Much love - what eyes will you use today - Jules

I have a few examples of this! Not just the "I already know this" lens, but also noticing when I about to put a "this isn't relevant to me" lens on too. It's amazing when we notice this and drop that lens, how much more we hear. My most recent example is a book that I am reading. Started it ages ago with the "I already know this lens" and didn't get very far. Then a nudge recently had me pick it up again with more of a "I wonder what there is for me in this book?" lens. It seems like a different book!
