@Jared Acosta card ladder is fine as long as you're just using the actual eBay comps on card ladder and not their price estimate. You can use 130 point or sports cards pro for free as well. They all have actual sale price. You can't use eBay directly as it's the buy it now list price not the actual sale price. In my opinion you can't choose auctions over by it now and you sort of just have to just lump them all together. Dealers will try to use auctions when buying to get lower and bin when selling to get more. At the end of the day they are all what someone paid for the card. Different auction houses and marketplaces and selling formats all contribute to tons of variation in market value. On one hand it can be annoying but on another hand it presents opportunities. When buying you always try to buy at the lowest possible comp and when selling you always try to sell at the highest possible comp. Sometimes you can flip cards a second later and make 20 to 40% just because of the variability in comps. Especially if it's a card with high demand then is selling a lot each day and week.
