My PSA Conspiracy Plot Thickens...
Follow up on my post from about a week ago. Card had no scratches when I sent it to PSA I have a video as proof. Then while it was in grading process we saw this first pic of it with 3 very obvious scratches. Came out of Grading today and mysteriously the scratches have been fixed. And they gave me a 9, again. The left border is a bit thicker than the right but I thought it fell within acceptable. The card itself was pristine when I sent it. PSA clearly cleaned it, polished it whatever to hide their scratches. Any opinions are welcome. I'm gonna bring it up and see what they say. Based on past experience they'll just make something up and do nothing.

@Aj Stenta I'm the king of 9s. When they see the box come in with my name they yell "get me the 9 labels!"

@Aj Stenta That makes sense too thank you. I am constantly reminded of the saying "fool and his money are soon parted" and that is because I have done a lot of guessing and "I have a feeling". Need to get away from that and really do this scientifically, mathematically. Yes I ripped this card so in that sense its a win. But ripping cards and grading should only be done for fun and not as a strategy. Another case in point the 2 Shotaro Moriis I just got graded today. I sold an auto Morii 10 for $1200 earlier this year so I thought those were gold in the hills waiting to be found and graded. But Morii has gone way down and I cringe when I see what I paid for the 2 raw Moriis. You are right, sticking with proven high gem rate cards is a better strategy all the way around
