I love that you put yourself out while recording!! This reminds me of the time my guide for hypnobirthing hypnotized herself to sleep in one of the training sessions. She started snoring and only woke up when her cat jumped on her lap.
Where does it all go!?
Somewhere along the way You learned that your feelings were a problem to manage. Too much. Too intense. Too hard to be around. 😭 So you got good at holding it together. Being useful. Constantly moving. Keeping juuuuuust enough distance from the bubbling underneath So you could still function. But here's what that costs: You can't rest when you're bracing or hiding yourself. The body won't rest when peace is held at arm's length. Real rest (the deep kind) requires that you feel safe enough to let what's there actually move. Not so you can be another problem to solve, but so you can just let it move. This is the second of the 5 States of Rest... (LEARN MORE) Each state gets its own month inside the membership I'm opening this week. Its own practice. Its own nervous system map. Its own way home. POLL | Which feels more true right now?

I feel like there's times in life I lean more into the numbness or disassociation as a means of survival and protection and times that I can lean into the all the feelings. I think it depends on the level of support I feel at the time. If I'm supported externally and/or resourced internally through rest, health food, etc. I can move through the waves. If I don't feel resourced, I can easily slip into overwhelm and the numbness is easier than feeling. As I learn more and rest more, I feel like I can more easily get a supported state.
Who's tired of being tired... 💙
You've slept. You've rested. You've tried. And you wake up... carrying the same weight you went to bed with. Your body is tired but dropping in isn't happening! There's a low hum of desire that never quite turns off. So close... Jaw clenched. Shoulders up. System on. You would if you could, but you can't! This is what happens when the body learned that rest wasn't safe... and kept holding you up long after the threat was gone. Let's be real... 'tryin' isnt working. You have already 'tried' everything. You need your nervous system to get a signal it may have never received: it's safe to land now. That's what I work with. This week I'm introducing something I've been building for a long time... the Five States of Rest. A monthly practice membership where we go deep into each state, one at a time, with Yoga Nidra designed for exactly where you are. More on that tomorrow. SHARE BELOW | where does your body hold the most tension? I read every one.

Yes! This sounds amazing. I feel it in my temples, shoulders and hips the most.
Rest Makes Inner Vision Possible
On stillness, dreaming, and what opens when the static quiets. ❤️🧡💛💚---🩵---💙💜🤍 There is a reason it can feel hard to dream clearly when life feels noisy. When the nervous system is overloaded, inner life gets crowded out. Our dreaming doesn't stop, but in some ways, there is too much static for us to be with them. The body is busy monitoring and managing. Energy is spent simply on getting through. In that state, imagination can flatten. Dream recall can fade, and our intuition can feel far away. 🩵 Rest is the condition that allows subtle perception to return 🩵 When your system calms, inner vision becomes possible again. And I don't mean fantasy in the escapist sense, but inner seeing — a clearer relationship with symbol, longing, direction, and deeper truth. Yoga Nidra supports this by giving the body a structured experience of surrender. A safe container in which awareness remains present, and no longer has to work so hard. And from that place, dreaming becomes possible in more than one sense. Night dreams may become more vivid. Inner imagery may become more accessible. Creativity is ushered to return. A felt sense of what is next may begin to form. This is one of the miracles... the charm, if you will, of the practice. 🍀 It reminds us that vision does not have to be forced and that sometimes it appears after we finally stop pushing. To dream with Yoga Nidra is to trust that conscious rest can restore not only the body, but the imagination. Not only the nervous system, but the inner world. Not only sleep, but also possibility. This is my favorite yoga nidra to tap into that: THIRD EYE YOGA NIDRA You can access it as a Premium or VIP Supporter... or as a one-time investment for the whole chakra series. I AM HERE to dream with you!

For me it's the ability to notice the joy in all the small things, allowing time and space for curiosity, and letting the creativity flow.

Over the last year, I’ve been building something deeply meaningful: The Astrological Archetype Nova Nidra Series And here’s what matters most: You do not need to believe in astrology for this to resonate. Because these archetypal energies live within all of us. Different parts of you. Different ways you protect, dream, respond, soften, and grow. Some are familiar. Some are still waiting to be seen. After studying Joseph Campbell’s The Hero’s Journey, I began weaving these 12 archetypes into a deeper inner map. A journey through the many layers of being human. Today’s session explored Pisces energy, the final archetype. The space where things begin to dissolve. Where you feel what’s no longer aligned… and what’s quietly asking to emerge. And if I’m honest… Most people feel this, but don’t act on it. They stay connected to what’s familiar, even when it’s no longer working. This practice is for the moment you’re ready to shift that. If there’s a cord in your life that needs to be cut… a pattern, a role, a version of yourself, or a story you’ve outgrown… This is your invitation. Inside VIP | Nova Nidra Live, you’ll get access to this replay of 12+ workshops exploring these archetypes So you can understand yourself more deeply. Don’t just think about the shift. Step toward it. Join VIP Supporters and start with this one → WATCH REPLAY

I received this one before I read your opening message. It’s like you were able to put a voice to what’s been on my heart. As you know, for so long I have been in this holding pattern where my fear of the unknown is stronger than my knowing that I need a change that brings me towards more alignment. I feel the shift getting nearer every day …. 🙏🏻💕
