This is something I did in a Skool community a couple of years ago, and I'm going to start doing it again here shortly. It boosts engagement in your Skool community significantly and raises your rank in discovery (helping you get found by more people). The strategy is really simple: do a live podcast. It could be a solo session or an interview. I use StreamYard to go live on YouTube, then I take the YouTube livestream link and embed it in a Skool post within my community. Because it's a YouTube link, your members can watch it without having to leave the platform. Encourage them to ask questions directly in that Skool post. When I did this in the past, I would get up to 100 comments, which significantly boosted discovery. I use StreamYard specifically so I can have separate audio files...because the quality is great for Spotify...but you could achieve the same result with Skool Live. Just make a Skool post and have your members comment their questions there instead of in the live chat. I prefer doing this with interviews because you typically get more questions from your peeps that way. It works wonders!

Thoughts on static posts on IG..? Do they still work well? I know awhile back that Instagram said they're going to be Google Indexed, so I'm thinking that would be helpful. You can see some of that information on Instagram's help: https://help.instagram.com/147542625391305/ I know IG reels work well. @Heston Roberts you're doing ManyChat, so clearly IG is a good source for traffic right? I want all thoughts pretty please 🙏

I was telling @Heidi Reagan about livestreaming (Youtube,Tiktok Live etc) is going to be huge in getting new members for your community this year. And we were talking if you had to show your face or if you could do faceless. You can do it super easily. Here are some examples. A whiteboard (the green picture is actually mine) An ipad Powerpoint Slides Showing your PC on your actual Skool community and taking people thru your courses. Just point your camera or phone at any of these and start teaching something! Answer questions and actually talk to people!

Today on Skool News, Sam mentioned the number 1 traffic source for Skoolers right now is Instagram and about all the winners use Manychat within Instagram. For those that don't know, it is an automation tool for Instagram that automatically sends messages when users comment with a specific keyword on posts, Reels, or Stories. Apparently it is really effective. I'd also like to welcome @Heston Roberts to the Lounge. He is a manychat expert! Who here has used Manychat before and what did you think?
