Alsalamualikum, guys. With the week now coming to an end, we're going to introduce a weekly review. Hectic week from side with build up to last exam, nonetheless now we are back on track to work on things the way we want to... main issue was adapting quickly to eid routine after , but now we have understood how to bounce back in the best way possible inshallah
The biggest skill you can develop is the ability to reset fast. Bad conversation? Move on? Bad day? Start fresh tomorrow. Missed workout? Hit it the next day. Poor decision? Learn and adjust. You can't control what happens to you, but you control how long you let it affect you.
Something I though about was when am not engaging in something properly as in not entering flow state and the likes of it I tend to have unnecessary thoughts, sounds, events etc. For the ones that relate to it how do you handle it? I personally breath 4sec in — 4sec hold — 4sec release: 3x and it works
That breathing pattern is solid, it's bringing you back to your body when your mind is running. The real move though is noticing what you're actually avoiding when those thoughts show up — usually it's the discomfort of the task itself, not the thoughts. Next time it happens, name what you're dodging and push through it once instead of resetting with breath work. The thoughts quieten when you stop negotiating with them.
You now know what's really holding you back: Drop your pattern below: The Drifter, The Restarter, The Consumer or The Scattered. And what you will be doing to change it 📥 If you haven't already done your dma audit, to idnetify whats holding you back, heres the link: dma-audit.html | Claude
Quick update everyone 👇 As we’ve come to a close with the current batch of journals, we’re now running low on stock. We’re working on a new layout and preparing the next batch, but in the meantime, any new members joining may experience a slight delay in receiving their journal. Appreciate your patience 🤝 The next version will be even better, in sha Allah.
