Hi everyone — curious if anyone has recommendations for custom packaging suppliers (paper/plastic cups, etc.)? We’ve been getting quotes from local manufacturers, but the unit pricing is pretty high and would significantly increase our COGS per drink. We’re also considering sourcing through Alibaba, but not sure how reliable it is for this — would love to hear if anyone has experience going that route (quality, lead times, customs, etc.).

Hi everyone! My name is Adel. I’m originally from Yemen, a country famous for producing some of the finest and highest-quality Arabica coffee in the world. Yemeni coffee has a long history and a very unique flavor that I’m proud of. Currently, I live in Belgium, and I’m very interested in building something in the coffee industry. Right now, I’m looking for importers of Yemeni coffee so we can potentially collaborate and become partners. If I don’t find the right opportunity, I’m planning to start my own small business focused on authentic Arabic coffee here in Europe, especially in Belgium. I also have a few questions I hope to learn more about in this course: - Is it allowed to roast coffee beans inside a café in Europe so customers can enjoy the aroma? - What are the legal requirements or restrictions for roasting coffee in a coffee shop in Belgium? - Can I serve coffee as a drink and also sell roasted beans and freshly ground coffee in the same shop?
