Long-Term Relationships Are WAAAY More Valuable Than Short-Term Cash!
I just read the post from @Liam J Ryan on "Build Relationships, Not Just Numbers." I couldn't agree more! Do you know about Nabil Elderkin and how he got famous? Here's the full story: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nabil_Elderkin #ImagineIfHeHadJustSettledForTheCash

What No One Tells You About Raising Money for Property
Most people think raising money is about having the perfect pitch, the polished slides, the confident delivery, the right words at the right time. It’s not. Money doesn’t move because you’re persuasive; it moves because people feel safe. And safety comes from clarity. If you can clearly explain the deal, the numbers, the risks, and the exit, without fluff or pressure, you’re already ahead of most. The biggest mistake I see is people trying to oversell and under-explain. When you avoid talking about risks, rush timelines, or can’t confidently answer simple questions, doubt creeps in. Serious investors don’t expect perfection, they expect transparency. They want to know you’ve thought it through, that you understand what could go wrong, and that you’ll communicate properly if it does. Raising money is a reputation game, not a performance game. Do what you say you’ll do. Follow up when you promise. Be honest when circumstances change. One well-executed, well-communicated deal builds more long-term funding than ten impressive pitches ever will. The real question isn’t “How do I pitch better?” it’s “Would I invest in me based on how I show up?” Let me ask you..if someone asked you to explain your next deal today, could you do it clearly and confidently without overselling it? 👇

@Liam J Ryan Amen to ALL of this!! "The biggest mistake I see is people trying to oversell and under-explain." As a private lender, we get pitched real estate investment deals daily. Sadly, the vast majority are half-baked, risky propositions that I would be embarrassed to ever present myself. Folks, you're asking someone to GIVE you complete control over their hard-earned capital for MONTHS, sometimes YEARS! If you're not ready for that AWESOME responsibility, then outside funding is NOT for you!

I'ma Just Leave This Here...
Any REAL asset-based lenders posting here should probably have: - a profile picture that doesn't look like someone currently under witness protection (shades, hat, fake mustache, etc.) - actual clients tagged here in the community that have worked with them and can vouch for their legitimacy - an email address domain that's not "google.com" or "yahoo.com" or (heaven help us!) "aol.com" - a working link to an active LinkedIn account You're saying you're a financial professional with access to millions to lend, and you don't even have LinkedIn or your own business domain name? For real? Just sayin'... #ShadeThrown

💥 Success Is a Choice, Not Luck 💥
Most people think success “just happens” to others. They look at successful investors, entrepreneurs, and business owners and say things like: “They were lucky.” “They had connections.” “They started at the right time.” Let me tell you something straight… that’s complete nonsense. Success has nothing to do with luck and everything to do with choice. It’s about deciding to take action when others make excuses. It’s about showing up when no one’s watching. It’s about saying “yes” to opportunities even when you don’t feel ready. I wasn’t “lucky” when I built my first multi-million-pound portfolio. I was broke, scared, and had no clue what I was doing… But I made a decision... to go all in, learn the game, and never quit. 👉 Action creates confidence. 👉 Confidence creates results. 👉 Results create momentum. So, here’s my challenge to you this week: What’s ONE action you’re taking to move closer to your goals? It doesn’t have to be huge.. maybe it’s booking that viewing, making that investor call, or showing up to the next webinar. Drop it in the comments 👇

What Does Freedom Actually Mean to You?
Everyone talks about freedom, financial freedom, time freedom, location freedom…but have you ever stopped to ask yourself what it actually means for you? When I first started my journey, I thought freedom was all about money, hitting certain numbers, scaling income, and buying back my time. But over time, I realized money was just one piece of it. Real freedom, at least for me, is: - Waking up without anxiety about the next deal or bill. - Choosing projects that excite me, not ones I have to do. - Spending more time with my family without feeling guilty about “not working.” - Knowing that my assets are working harder than I am. And it’s funny, the more I focus on building systems and habits that protect that freedom, the more peace I have (even when business is challenging). So, what does freedom look like for you right now? Is it financial, emotional, time-based… or something else entirely? Drop your thoughts below; there’s no right or wrong answer. Sometimes, hearing how others define freedom can help us refine what we’re really working toward.
