The Automatic Customer by John Warrillow
You do not need to read the whole book to start applying its core lessons The 80/20 Summary One-off sales make you repeatedly find new customers. A subscription model creates predictable income by giving customers an ongoing reason to stay. The goal is not simply to charge monthly. It is to deliver recurring value that customers would genuinely miss if they cancelled. The Most Useful Ideas 1. Sell continued progress Customers stay when your offer helps them keep creating, learning, improving or earning. For a Skool community, this could include: Monthly workshops New prompt collections Creator challenges Templates and resources Feedback and support Regular implementation sessions 2. Solve an ongoing problem A subscription works best when the need returns regularly. Creators continually need content ideas, promotional materials, new skills, feedback and ways to sell their work. 3. Give members an immediate win Provide something useful as soon as they join, such as a starter kit, quick-win course, template bundle or guided challenge. This reduces buyer doubt and gives them a reason to participate immediately. 4. Build a value rhythm Members should know when new value arrives. Example: Monday: Planning prompt Wednesday: New resource Friday: Feedback session Monthly: Workshop or challenge 5. Watch retention, not only sign-ups New members may create growth, but retained members create stability. Track: - New members - Active members - Renewals - Cancellations - Most-used resources - Reasons people leave Practical Implementation Plan Step 1: Choose one recurring problem Example: “Creators need fresh prompts, practical resources and help using AI consistently.” Step 2: Create one clear membership promise “Get fresh prompts, creator resources and practical support to help you create and sell consistently.” Step 3: Build the immediate win Create a simple new-member pathway: Welcome post Start Here guide Quick-win resource Introduction prompt First small action

🎉 THE JUNE EDITION OF THE SKOOL MONTHLY YEARBOOK IS LIVE! 🎉
It's always exciting seeing another edition come together. What started as an idea between Skill & Soul Studio and Zetsu EDU has grown into something that showcases the incredible work happening across the Skool community each month. Inside this edition you'll find: 📖 40 pages of creator stories, products and progress 🏘️ 8 featured communities 👥 16 contributors 📦 3 products 📰 2 newsletters making their debut I love that this isn't just another magazine. It's a snapshot of what real people are building, creating and sharing inside their communities. A huge congratulations to Kevin and everyone who helped make another fantastic edition happen. I'm proud that Skill & Soul Studio continues to be part of this journey. 📖 Read the June edition here: Skool Monthly Yearbook - June Edition https://heyzine.com/flip-book/292d5b64bb.html I'd love to know what your favourite feature or community is once you've had a look!

Love this!
I wanted to give everyone an update on my brother.
UPDATE - 4 DAYS later and he is home. Glad to be in his own bed and free from the hospital, thank you everyone for your prayers and well wishes. Still a long road with 18months worth of chemo to come but he is on the road to recovery UPDATE - he wont be going home anytime soon, his pain has gotten significantly worse and nothing is helping so he will remain in hospital until they can manage it He's 22 (i was a year off in my last post 🫣) and has just completed his first round of chemotherapy for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. It has been an incredibly overwhelming few weeks, but we've finally reached an important milestone. The good news is that, if everything continues to go well, he should be heading home from the hospital today or tomorrow. It will be nice for him to be back in his own surroundings before continuing treatment. The journey isn't over yet. Once his chemotherapy is complete, he'll need a hip replacement and surgery to insert a pin into his femur because of the damage the lymphoma has caused. We know there's still a long road ahead, but we're taking it one step at a time. Thank you to everyone who has checked in, sent messages, and kept him in your thoughts. Your support has meant so much to our family during this time. ❤️
