New Family Check-In's
Hi Everyone, I would like to hear how you all do your new family check in process. We are a small church, we have two regualr family check-in I-Pads and one i-Pad for new families. Sometime it takes 15 minutes to get them all entered into Planning Center depending on how many members of the household you have to enter. When there is another new family waiting in line it makes it tough to get them checked in quickly and show them to their rooms. We have one lead that helps check in new families by collecting and imputting them in the system, we have one volunteer who helps with regular check in's. I know for bigger churches it is easier but would still love to hear ideas. For those with smaller churches how to do manage this? Thank you for your help.

Hi Jen! We use Jotform for new families - they scan a QR code and fill out their information on their phone. Our greeter hand writes check in tags for them that day (there is a kid tag and an adult tag with the secure code for pick ups - we made these on avery labels and preprint so they are ready to be filled out). The Jotform sends me an email with all their information. On Monday morning our admin team adds their information to our system (CCB) and then the next Sunday they check in like normal. I think it is helpful that more than one family can be filling out their information at once because they are able to do so on their phone. I hope this helps!
