The More the Merrier 👏
If you're new here — hi, welcome, we're so glad you're here. 🤍 HCA just opened its doors and we've got some fresh faces in the community. Whether you stumbled across this place or came here with a specific goal in mind — you're in the right spot. This community was built for social media managers and creative freelancers who are serious about building a real business. Not just winging it. Not just hoping clients show up. Actually building something sustainable with strategy, systems, and people around you who get it. And I know how this goes — when something is free, it's easy to join and quietly observe from the back row. 👀 No judgment. We've all done it. But I want to challenge you to actually show up here. The people who get the most out of HCA are the ones who ask the questions, share the wins, and engage with the community — not just consume it. So let's start right now. Drop a comment below and tell us: 👋 Who you are and what you do 🎯 One thing you're hoping to learn or walk away with from being in this community And for my OGs who have been here a while — ( @Daniel Lutu , @Lashay Broomer , @Miranda Sullivan , @Edward Hollis , @Kailyn Smith , @Coral V. ) This is your moment. Share one thing you've learned, implemented, or shifted in your business since joining HCA. You might not realize it but your answer could be exactly what a new member needs to hear today. 💙

Hi! I'm an OG member as well as one of the Admins here in this community! 👋🏻 One thing I've learned here, especially listening to everyone's stories and daily successes is that clients treat you how YOU teach them to treat you. If you're available 24/7, they'll expect it. If you constantly undercharge, they'll assume that's your value. But... if you communicate clearly, set boundaries, and operate professionally, MOST clients will respect that. And the one's that don't, don't! There's plenty of other clients out there who will value and respect your work. With that being said, I'm no longer available 24/7 and burning myself out. I can protect my time (and mental space) and still be a great social media manager. 🤪

Hi Team! Wanted to check in, any updates about use of Rella!? Idk if I’m using it wrong or if it’s just a glitchy mess for me, I want to love it but the glitches and failed automations are killing my momentum !

Hi Kailyn! We actually recently switched BACK to Metricool because Rella was just way too glitchy for us. We ran into a lot of issues with media showing up black, posts disappearing or not publishing at all, and even clients not being able to view content. I went back and forth with their IT team trying to troubleshoot, but they kept blaming the size of our files/media, but we’ve always exported everything the same way, so it didn’t really make sense. We switched back to Metricool and honestly, I’ve been loving it so far! They’ve made quite a few updates since we last used it. I really wanted to love Rella, and maybe one day I will — they’re still pretty new and probably just need some time to work out the kinks.

Today was my first day getting back into a normal routine… and if I’m being real — I felt foggy. I’ve had a lot going on the past few weeks, and looking ahead at everything coming up: • onboarding 2 new accounts • moving • parenting • building something special for this community 👀 …it felt like my brain had 100 tabs open and no clear place to start. Hello, analysis paralysis. 👋🙃 So I did what I always do when I feel like this: I stopped trying to “figure it out” in my head and got it all out on paper. I did a full brain dump: • business tasks • personal life • random things sitting in the back of my mind Then I took that list and started organizing my week. Inside my Notion dashboard, I have a weekly planner…and once I started assigning things to actual days, timelines, and order of priority — everything calmed down. Clarity came back. Just a reminder: You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need to get it out of your head and into a system. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed or stuck, try this today: 👉 brain dump everything 👉 organize it into your week 👉 focus on one thing at a time I’m going to drop my weekly planner from the Starter Pack in here as a freebie for anyone who needs a little more structure right now 🤍 ACCESS FREE WEEKLY PLANNER HERE What’s ONE thing you’re focusing on today?

I use this planner DAILY… helps me get the day-to-day tasks done when I see them in front of me!
April Win! ✨🍾
I just secured my first SMM client, a Pilates Studio based in Texas! 🧘🏽‍♀️✨ I’ve been a bit quieter in here lately, but I want to mention, this community has genuinely been part of my process. Tuning into the shared resources here has helped me show up more confidently when it came to pitching and packaging my services. So grateful to be a member of this space. Can’t wait to see what everyone else is building this month!

OMG! I'm so happy for you!!! THIS IS SO BIG! We're cheering you on the whole way! 🎉🥳
You don’t need more motivation. You need a higher standard.
If you only show up when you feel motivated…you’re going to stay inconsistent. And inconsistent people don’t build real businesses. The people you’re looking up to? They’re not more inspired than you. They just decided:“I’m doing this whether I feel like it or not.” That’s the shift. Because the version of you that hits your goals…doesn’t negotiate with herself/himself every day.
