Don't be Afraid to Get Paid
Yesterday, everybody was so excited at the launch of Freemium ⟢ Plans, myself included. Then this morning my friend, and member @Mindy Molein shared this video in her community: Start Your Skool Community. All I can say is wow! I know we are all busy, but find 15 minutes to watch this video, especially the part about engagement in Freemium communities. I know where @Krista Brea is on this subject. I am headed in the same direction. If you are a coach, or sell a service in the offline world, why shouldn't you get paid on Skool? Please watch this video and drop your biggest takeaway below.

@Debra Verrall it depends if what you are offering will change. You can just grandfather them in and celebrate them being your founding members. You also can offer a 1 time founding member price to hop on the new standard. Give them something that they want when they join the new standard before you raise the price for good.

@Marama Elizabeth congrats! You know, maybe it will be waiting for a while for someone to enter but don't give up. Also being paid will give you more visibility in Discovery and the ads, I think tou're doing the right thing. You knowlegde should not be free!

🎯 Skool Boost Keyword Ads: Is Your Community Card Ready?
I was participating in a discussion in the Skool Dads community about Skool's new keyword-targeted Boost Ads last night, and it really got me thinking. Jenna Ostrye (a moderator in the Skoolers community) shared an excellent video explaining how these ads work and how to choose the right keywords. One comment really caught my attention. According to Sam Ovens, as much as 80% of Skool's Boost ad spend is going toward keyword-based ads. If that's the direction Skool is headed, your community card just became one of your most important marketing assets. When someone searches for a keyword and your community appears in Discovery, your card has just a few seconds to answer three questions: βœ… Who is this for? βœ… What outcome will I get? βœ… Is this worth clicking? That's why I've been updating my own community card recently. I wanted someone discovering Bio Builders for the first time to immediately understand what the community is about and why they should join. As keyword traffic continues to grow, the communities with the clearest messageβ€”not just the coolest graphicsβ€”are likely to earn more clicks. Have you looked at your community card lately? If you had to describe your community in just a few seconds, would someone instantly know it's for them? πŸ‘‡Feel free to drop your card here for some feedback.

@Liisa Reimann I'm a fan of keeping the 1 line promise in the description (if that's what you mean with the blurb) It has proven itself around Skool so much.

πŸ“£Hello
πŸ“± When Did You Last Scan a QR Code?
Be honest... What was the last QR code you scanned? - A restaurant menu? - A digital business card? - A product package? - An event flyer? - A Skool community? - Something else? QR codes have quietly become part of everyday life, but I'm curious how people are actually using them. Drop your answer below πŸ‘‡ What was the last QR code you scanned, and where did you find it? Bonus points if it was for a Skool community. 😎

@Nick Nebelsky Yeah we can pay with 'Swish' and we use a Digital BankID for almost everything. Link all websites login, banks, stores, Post delivery. Really everything.

@Nick Nebelsky It probably is, and just easier since it's uniform for everything,

Saturday Night Netflix Alternative - Stolen Legos Gone Viral
If you are staying home and you are not sure what to watch tonight, I recommend this video from Reckless Ben. I'll warn you this is only the first video, and this clocks in at 1.5 hours. This has nothing to do with Link-in-Bios or QR codes, it is all about perseverance. I hope to hear some feedback for the few who check it out. Truth is stranger than fiction.
