Did you see the news about psychedelic therapy for veterans?
President Trump just signed an executive order to give FDA approval to ibogaine. This is freaking massive! If you have no idea what ibogaine is, I did a quick training on it during our MMoH. I've also created a quick word doc you can reference with an episode I did with the world's leading provider of ibogaine therapy, Trevor Millar (good Canadian boy) DOWNLOAD HERE Watch Trevor Deliver his full training on ibogaine by watching the replay from the Biology of Service Event. What Charges Your Batteries 🔋?
I just got back from Spain 🇪🇸 What a trip. The Alhambra, Segovia, beaches and cheap tapas. Although I’m physically exhausted, I’m creatively recharged. Travelling is an activity that helps me get inspired. I think it’s seeing beauty in other forms that does it. What helps you recharge the most, either physically or creatively?

You know it's travel for me. All that novelty sparks up the creative juices. I went to Alhambra a few months ago. Epic.

@Dave Morrow I spent a week in Florence a few weeks later to study the renaissance and the math at Alhambra made sense after that. Sounds like we need a geek out session.
Should Generals Have To Pass PT Standards?
Secretary of War (fuck I like how that sounds) Pete Hegseth just knife handed his entire general staff. Get fit or get out. WOW. Finally. Leading by example seems like it’s only a mantra these days. Hegseth is bang on by calling out fat senior officers. You can’t expect a high standard of soldiering if leaders don’t set the example. The most basic level of leadership is showing up fit. I’ve railed against our fat Army in Canada for years. It drove me crazy when guys like me were sweating our balls off fighting the Taliban but my senior leadership were getting fat at KAF and back home. They expected us to stay fit and enforced the standard upon us. It felt like they were royalty. 🤴 I hope Canada is listening. This is coming for us too. The pendulum will swing and it’s going to be rough. I’m a fitness absolutist. Same standard for everyone regardless of age, sex or rank. What’s your take? Is it time for senior military leadership to be held accountable for their poor fitness standards?

Yes, and they should have to annually fight to the death to someone who wants their position. I want to make sure their heart is in it. This would also help balance the budget since we would obviously be charging for pay per view of the event.

@Dave Morrow maybe I’m being selfish here but I gotta have the pay per view
I Went To America To Make Peace
Don't worry folks. I made peace between our two nations. Canada and America are back on speaking terms. I spent the week travelling and hanging out with Tim from Gruntstyle. We chatted about the veteran health crisis we're facing in both our countries and what we're going to do about it. We discussed my book at length and I can't wait for ya'll to watch the episode in a couple of weeks on the American Grit Podcast. Stay tuned and see you next week. THFE

Nice!!!
Do You Advocate For Yourself?
Most of us do a poor job advocating for our health. This isn’t good. We’re habitual rule followers in the military and if a doc says we need to do xyz, we do it. Unfortunately, this is likely not in our best interests. Most docs won’t “look under the hood” Listen to Dr. Kavoussi explain the importance of tracking your hormones and taking the necessary action with your doctor.

Time to turn that energy of being willing to be of so much service to others that we're willing to die, to be willing to serve ourselves so much that we actually take care of ourselves.
