Start to Finish - 5 Tree build 😎
Snagged a block from a local guy. The 5.3 came out of an early 2000’s truck with low miles for its age. Decided this one was going into my new rock crawler buggy. Was a fun mild build all around & was able to get both my kids involved in there first engine build so that was cool. Looking fwd to hearing this thing come to life one of these days. Should be a blast on the trial. Fun Parts List 😎: BTR Stage 1 Truck Cam, LS7 Lifters, BTR Springs & Pushrods, Single piece hat seals, New LS1 rocker arms w/bronze bushing trunions, FBody oil pan w/Improved racing internal baffles, Holley Valve covers, TBSS Truck Intake & Motion Raceworks 92mm Throttle Body

@Jared Hill yup LOL. On this build both rears needed extraction as they typically do and always a nice win when they come out clean.

@Jared Hill oh those are some fancy and nice looking brackets. Deff dresses up the engine area nicer than what I’m currently running. And that setup will work with a TC pump??

@Jared Hill that’s awesome! And looks a heck of a lot nicer than the GoatBuilt kit I currently have installed.

@Tj Johnson thanks! Little wax on/off action haha.

@Jared Hill I ended up painting mine while it was torn apart. Found it easier to mask everything off. I used Dupli Color engine enamel with ceramic paint. So far happy with how it turned out.
C2 headers
Does anyone know what budget friendly headers will fit an LS swapped 66 Vette with the factory clutch Z bar?

If still needed check out Speed Engineering. They should have what you need and cost wise are very reasonable.
