What have you been up to this week???
Share a photo.👇 It’s warmed up here, and we’ve been getting to the park and going for walks! We love it. Good excuse to do some grounding and journaling. Nutrition includes getting some sunshine too! ☀️ If you missed our live on peptides, I’m dropping it in the comments below. Happy Sunday!

I would anchor this around consistency first: protein target, fiber, hydration, and meal timing that you can repeat. Once those are stable for a couple weeks, the pattern that gives better energy, digestion, and training output usually becomes obvious.
Meet Jesus!
Jesus started out as a martial arts student from the age of five. In his teens, he became four times national champion, and went on to study sports fitness, physiology and nutrition. He presented his scientific research, observing lab results in professional athletes, at international conferences. He became a university lecturer, where he taught personal trainers how to manage the health of their clients. As a personal trainer, he designed machines to help people who suffered serious neurological health issues recover mobility. Today, he's a metabolic and physical energy specialist, and works with professional CEOs, working out health issues, increasing energy, and improving mental clarity.

Any fasting 'rules?'
What are the fasting ‘rules?’ Absence of food, including sugar, is a start! I love to pull Jesus’ leg, and of course, I know you cannot drink pop, soda, and any kind of beverage that contains sugar. Likewise, cinnamon rolls immediately bring you out of your fast. There are strict guidelines for anyone doing an extended or intermittent fast with us, and as mentioned in previous videos, there are a ton of benefits to fasting. Jesus experienced improved mental clarity, happier skin, and more on his latest extended fast. That said, what should you be eating when you END your fast? This is an important consideration because your body is looking for specific nourishment. In your opinion, what are the best foods to include on that first plate or bowl of goodness? Let us know in the comments.

For breaking a fast, I usually think in terms of digestion load first, not just calories. A simple protein-forward meal with some fluids and electrolytes tends to land better than going straight into a huge carb hit. Eggs, Greek yogurt, broth, fish, or a smaller whole-food meal usually beats turning the refeed into a reward binge. If the fast was longer, I would also keep fiber and fat moderate on meal one, then normalize in meal two once digestion feels settled.
Should medical doctors learn nutrition basics? 🤔
In your opinion, should medical doctors receive at least some training on nutrition? 🤔 Jesus and I chat together about our motivations for learning about health and sharing what we know. Here, Jesus talks about his frustration as a nutritionist and sport trainer, trying to help his uncle diagnosed with bowel cancer, and describes a huge disconnect between the medical doctors administering chemotherapy, and their lack of knowledge about basic nutrition. Medical doctors can underrate just how critical nutritional supplementation is, and this can result in the loss of family members. In the full video, Jesus explains how important it is, as someone suffering from cancer, to take vitamin C. Let us know in the comments why you are interested in alternatives to pharmaceutical and conventional medicine. 👇 Full video in the comments. Tasha~

At minimum, yes. They do not need to become nutrition specialists, but they should be able to connect diet quality, protein intake, glycemic control, gut tolerance, and body composition to the conditions they treat every day. A lot of patients are stuck because meds and procedures get discussed while the food environment driving inflammation or recovery never gets addressed.

What projects or fun updates are keeping your focus? Let us know what’s going on with you; what are you working on, or what’s been memorable this week.👇 I went for a beautiful walk with my mother yesterday afternoon. I’ve lived abroad for many years and so getting this time together now is important to me. ☺️ Jesus has been working on preparing for the launch of our method. We recently decided that the park is our favorite office space! 🌳🌸🎉 Tasha~

Park office sounds like a win. On weeks that get noisy, I like a minimum-dose approach, one health action, one revenue action, and one relationship action that happen no matter what. It keeps momentum alive without pretending every day has to be perfect.
