This week: Speed to the Lead. The single biggest reason most LOs lose deals they should win. The number that matters: a lead contacted in under 5 minutes is 21x more likely to qualify than a lead contacted in 30 minutes. Most LOs respond within 4 to 12 hours. The producer who picks up the phone in 5 minutes or less wins almost every dual-shopped lead, every time. The fix isn't more leads. It's a faster way to reach the leads you already have. Honest answer is one to two hours. This is how I am going to fix it....answer every call coming in even when i think/know its is a spam call and I get lots of these through the day. I am noticing the shear number of spam calls has shifted my expectation from "yay a lead" to "oh that is spam". I am going back to "yay a lead" even if it is another spam call.
