Timeline prioritization. If you imagine your past stretching back one direction (typically left or behind) and your future stretching the other direction (typically right or in front) (and there are many variations...) -- float above the timeline and and start purposefully placing tasks (placeholders, etc.) onto the future. Many variations of this, but that's the super barebones idea.
