Whatcha read'n?
What are you reading these days? That's one of the twenty one questions my Dad asks when we visit. Well, I'm asking you. Per Dr. Seth's recommendation, I'm reading 101 Essays That Will Change The Way You Think by Brianna Wiest I usually run through books, being the voracious reader I am. However, I'm really trying to digest as much as I can. Usually a chapter at a time. How about you?

I just finished Think Again by Adam Grant. Great book that gave me a number of things to think about. I used to read a lot and kind of burned myself out. I am working on reducing my mindless scrolling on my phone and have made it a goal to read more. I've been staying away from fiction and focusing on books that maybe I wouldn't have necessarily sought out in the past. Trying to broaden my horizons, I suppose.
ECR addition
Anyone ever try incorporating an acupressure mat into their ECR? A little bit of embrace the suck and you can stack it with diaphragm breathing and mantras. Really helps to relax the muscles and get some endorphins going in the morning! https://a.co/d/0vFAW21

I'd be curious to hear how you like it as well. I have been struggling with lower back pain for several months now and just stretching doesn't seem to be cutting it.

My name is Michelle Hahn and I am in Oregon. I work in Law Enforcement and have for nearly 26 years. The last few months have been pretty challenging for me on a personal level. I wanted to join the community to help get my mind back on track and put the stuff I learned in My Steady Mind into use again.
ECR's & IER's
I'm curious to know, or if anyone else wants to share - what their ECR's are? What really gets your mind (and body) movin' and ready for the day/afternoon/evening? 🤔 Mine are affirmations in the car, listening to music sometimes really loud in the AM and PM to/from work, and of course BAMO!!!

I do meditation after my workout followed by a cold shower. Later in the day I listen to the Hallow App, bible in a year reading for the day.
