Any questions about the Scrapbooks as Gifts presentation?
I just wanted to give some "space" here to see if anyone has any questions about my presentation, supplies I used, etc! I can't wait to see you guys create some fun binders or scrapbooks as gifts! Just for easy links -- Go here for all Day 1 Presentations: https://hobbyscool.lpages.co/schedule/ Go here for my specific presentation: https://hobbyscool.lpages.co/allie-trumpower/

I loved your presentation! I have attended a lot of yours and have saved everything. I am missing a couple (one was a prize-I am sad about that one...). I am waiting for my binder folio (who knew those existed!) to come and I am going to mesh everything into one! Thank you!

@Allie Trumpower I emailed you yesterday. What is the name of the binder folio you showed in your presentation? Thank you!
Day 1
A couple projects from Day 1! Loved @Allie Trumpower presentation. Reminded me of all the different ways books can be made, what they can be made with and all the amazing different uses! Plus-I found a bunch of her downloads from prior summits, and I am going to piece them all together into one scrappy book! I know my one Santa face is sideways, but I really wanted to use that picture of me and my kids at the movies!
Day 1
Excellent as usual!
What an amazing event! So many fun projects! Below are a few I completed. Einat, Tamar, and Consie are always my favorites and when all three are together in the same event? No words! Thank you, Destini, Team, and Presenters, for an amazing experience! @Tamar Perry Love your projects and your VIP gift was above and beyond. Thank you so very much! @Einat Kessler How do you come up with some of these projects?! They are amazing and so much fun! @Consie Sindet I always feel relaxed and enjoy your presentations and projects. Procreate is turning into my second love. Thank you @Diana McDermott Have you heard about the Procreate Update? Any idea how I can get it or do I have to wait? I've tried updating the app and there is no option for the update on my stuff yet. Thank you, Ladies!
Excellent as usual!

@Diana McDermott Thank you for the reminder! If you have a moment (I know you are busy!) Can you briefly tell me how to back stuff up? I checked the app store and the update was not showing up for me yet. I did hear that stuff like this gets rolled out to different people at different times so who knows!

HobbyScool: More Than Just Pastimes 🎨🎶⚽
Hobbies are often seen as something “extra” we do when we have free time. But if you think about it, they can be so much more than that they shape our character, bring us healing, spark creativity, and even teach us discipline and patience. For some, hobbies are a way to escape stress. For others, they’re a path to self-discovery, building confidence, and even creating new opportunities in life. I believe that what we choose to spend our time on outside of work or school says a lot about who we are and how we want to live. 👉 What’s a hobby that has deeply impacted your life and in what way? 👉 Do you think hobbies can be just as important as formal education when it comes to growth and purpose? Let’s open up a real conversation around how our “small passions” are often what give our lives the biggest meaning.

Paper crafting and junk journaling have impacted me. Painting is making its way up there too. For me-it’s about seeing a finished piece after I made it. Putting ideas together or using a template from another creator and having the ability to out my own twist to it is very rewarding! I strongly believe hobbies are crucial to growth and development. I also never thought of myself as an artist-but a creative person yes. If that makes sense. Learning to be comfortable with what I make and sharing it builds as much confidence and self esteem as getting an A on a paper. For some-such as myself-hobbies are also a form of therapy. Crafting is my therapy for gross motor skills and all kinds of mental skills-including mental health-after an illness im still battling back from a few years ago.

@Hannah Lord you keep doing you. Period. With our illnesses completely turning our lives around-we could be twins.
Hello from North Carolina!
Greetings from northwestern NC! I'm new to this group and the summit- both look like a lot of fun! My primary art form is making junk journals and mini albums, but I also knit, watercolor, sew, make beaded jewelry and more. I love to learn new things.
