Are you a poet?
I'd like to hear about your poetic journey. You can talk about or post any poem to solicit feedback, if you want. I'll start with one of mine called "The Fall" Note: For the record I only use the pronoun "He" to reference God because it is the public norm. I truly believe and understand that God is gender neutral (after all he has created all of them). If you like you can replace "He" with whatever pronoun you prefer as you read the poem. The Fall By Zane D. Dowling I saw a leaf fall to the ground one cold forbidding winter’s day. This death so slight yet so profound, Brought pause to think on life this way: How quick and frail this life I see, If once this leaf in time must fall. How long ere when this leaf is me; till life doth yield to death’s harsh call. But with more thought I understand the mysteries of this cold world, I cannot know as mortal man such things till life's flag's unfurled. So I travel through God's love song And when I fall, for sure I must, as each of us must do ere long I’ve faith in He who’s made me thus. I'll sing His praises all my days, and submit to Him all my ways. .

@Zane Dowling I am scared to change the poem because I don’t like the idea of losing its captivating essence. I have previously heard good things about it. I love the light and I am against the darkness, so I hope and aim this helps as a whole. I honestly don’t know that I can change more details about the poem, because it felt right to me as I wrote them down. My intuition was calling out to me, so I ran with it basically. Please allow me the opportunity to keep it. I respect that you don’t like it, and it is what it is.

@Zane Dowling God bless you too. I have definitely evolved in my poetry style and poetry substance during my third poetry book.
Your participation is what is going to get you there.
For those members who aspire to one day not only be a published author but be a best seller, your participation with asking questions, seeking advice, and letting others critique your work is what is going to get you there. I would like to see more involvement in the group. What would inspire your participation? Don't be shy, let's see what you got or discuss your ideas. BE IN IT TO WIN IT

@Zane Dowling I have just finished writing a trilogy of three poetry books, and I truly hope and aim to share them by connecting with inspired readers on a global scale worldwide. Whether it’s through self-publishing or through a small presser based in Colorado called Alternating Current Press, which has a current publication time table of 2027/2028, I want to inspire readers readily, realize their dreams boldly, and act collectively towards a strong sense of belonging. It would really be ideal to publish, market, and publicize my poetry books, plus I would love opportunities for support and encouragement in doing so.
Inspirational Poetry
Hi everyone! My name is Michael, and it’s such a pleasure to know everyone here! I just got connected to the founder, Zane, and I was welcomed into the Skool community today. I write inspirational poetry , in addition to personal growth and spirituality types of poems. My first debut poetry book is based on inspiration, and it’s called “Transformation: Way of creating one’s life anew”. My second poetry book is called “Connection: Enjoying and appreciating life fully”. My third poetry book in my trilogy series is in process, as I have written 26 poems so far and I plan on writing additional poems towards completion of my third poetry book called “Phenomenal: Being who one is born to be”. Please let me know in case any inspired readers are willing and interested in reading my poetry going forward.
