Sunshine: inspiring or distracting?
The weather is brightening up here in the UK, but does that help or hinder your writing?

@Hilary Seabrook Good early morning ! I would say that since the weather is definitely getting nicer and brighter in the U.K., it’s reminding me of how it’s also happening in the U.S. too, thus it’s been a true help and inspiration towards my writing of poetry. I easily meditate in every action, and make exemplary use of writing poetry at least three days a week. Please know that I have been doing so since the Fall/Autumn season came to fruition, and I even didn’t stop during the Winter months either because of my focus and dedication towards my craft. Nowadays, May is upon us, and I have had the opportunity to inspire readers readily, realize their dreams boldly, and act collectively towards a strong sense of belonging by helping my writing prowess and understanding the truth of what one speaks with a genuine extra dose of meaning, purpose, and conviction.
MOST PEOPLE LOVE FOOD. DO YOU?
They cook, try new recipes, and share meals with friends — but when it comes to putting that experience into words, they get stuck. They post something online, maybe a recipe or a photo, and then… nothing really happens. No audience, no traction, and definitely no income. What most people don’t realise is that the difference isn’t the food — it’s the writing. When you know how to describe food properly, structure your ideas, and write in a way that actually connects with readers, everything changes. Your content becomes something people want to read, share, and even pay for. That’s exactly what I teach inside my Food Writing Academy — how to turn your love of food into writing that can genuinely make you money.

@Gwynne Conlyn Hi Gwynne and hi everybody! This is Michael Teferi here, a BIPOC Poet, Writer, Positive Psychology Coach, & Debut Poetry Book Author. I love the art of reading and writing poetry with a passion! I have developed my sense of Intuition, and I have evolved in my poetry journey and poetry books. As for food, I definitely am into eating healthy, pescatarian meals, and I personally love eating chicken soup, salad, sushi, alongside Chicken and Filet Mignot hibachi. My aunt and I go and eat lunch together every two weeks at our local Akasaka Sushi and Japanese Steakhouse restaurant here in Bull Run Shopping Center at Manassas, VA. Gwynne, can I please join your epic Skool community at Food Writing Academy? Please let me know!
It’s the weekend!
More grammar tips coming later today - let me know if there’s something specific you need.

@Hilary Seabrook Hi Hilary! I would love additional help, input and support in checking out my three poetry books on behalf of book editing and book formatting whenever you or anyone else have the chance!
What has made you feel proud?
My podcast (Harmonious World) was recognised in the top 15 jazz music podcasts. It’s an international list, so it’s amazing. But I realised that I wasn’t telling people about it, which is silly. So what are you proud of? Tell us all on here!

@Hilary Seabrook What has made me feel most proud are a few things: a) I have three different poetry books that are for sale on behalf on inspired readers on a global scale worldwide, as they are based on inspiration, self- help/personal growth, and spirituality, b) I connected with a number of Literary Agents and Senior Agents to query and/or propose my debut poetry book and other poetry books as a trilogy, c) I am learning about and connecting with people who could potentially be interested in being a client with my relatively new Positive Psychology Coaching practice called Positive Psychology Solutions, and d) I am looking to connect with people here who could be potentially interested in checking out and/or being a guest on my new podcast. Hope to hear back from you and everybody else sometime soon!
