Thoughts on Layering Banana Republic
Thier Icon line is Unisex focused with some leaning one way or the other. I find Neroli Woods to be super feminine while Cypress Cedar to be super masculine, I was thinking of layering the two with the intention of making the Neroli Woods more masculine. What do you all think?

Go for it. Layering can be fun and on occasion frightening.😂 but like I always say, wear what you love not what they say you should like
SOTD - Nuit D'issey EDT
I started the day scentless as I wanted to go fragrance exploring in the Base Exchange. I've had my eye on a few of the Issey Miyake's darker offerings and decided I'd go get a few dozen free sprays to test out. Decided to go with this classic for the day. So far it's an enjoyable unique light fragrance like most Issey Miyake's. I'd probably choose to purchase the Parfum in place of this one, but may end up buying both concentrations as it's a fairly inexpensive buy from the discounters. I'm not sure how to describe this one other than everything is very well blended with no overpowering notes. The Incense, Leather, and Ebony stand out slightly more than the other notes but seem to be muted by the citrus. My personal opinion, is that everyone should at least own a bottle of the OG L'eau D'issey Pour Homme along with a bottle of this one for evenings. The only thing the House of Issey Miyake has going against it, is their propensity to discontinue their best offerings. Where are you Pulse Of The Night, Noir Ambre, Gold Absolute, Austral Expedition, Argent, Bois Arctic, and Polaris!

Seeking a Sweets lover
I've got a full bottle of the most horrendously disgusting sweet smelling beast mode port-o-potty urinal cake fragrance in the history of scent. I'm looking for that one weirdo who's dream fragrance is Bharara Peace - I've got a free bottle for you. You're a troubled individual and I hope to never be stuck in a room with you, but it's yours if you claim it. Keep in mind I might need help covering shipping.

Well it sounds like the port-a-potty next to the cotton candy machine at the state fair exploded! And on top of that the bottle is ugly. Good luck in dumping it.

SOTD - FERRAGAMO SPICY LEATHER
This is one of my favorites and today the temps drop back into the 70's, which is considered cold weather this time of year here where I live. The scent itself feels light, fresh and airy even though it's rich and deep. To my nose, the saffron, cedar, and leather really shine though, I think the sandalwood smooths out the sharp cedar. Although there's a light spiciness from the black pepper it's also toned down by the nutmeg. I'm guessing the clary sage and Patchouli are used to give an underlying sweetness while the citrus in the opening really stays a background player that I don't notice all that much outside of the initial application. I highly recommend this one if you're a fan of the Ferragamo line. They've yet to disappoint me. To give you a visual example Lorenzo Lamas in the Renegade would wear Intense Leather while Stringfellow Hawk of Airwolf fame would be wearing Spicy Leather.

Sebastian is a dear friend of mine. He’s so much fun to go fragrance shopping with. We even did a couple of reviews together when I lived in San Francisco. And boy does he know fragrance!
