Speaking at Events
So this Thursday, I had an opportunity to speak for like three minutes. And after that talk I had about 10 people coming to me, asking for my card. I don’t talk a lot about public speaking because I know it’s a lot of people’s greatest fear, but it’s probably something that you really wanna get better at if you wanna be great at the business side of things. The better speaker you are the easier business is going to be for you

Friday Wins Check In
Alright it’s that time. Let’s celebrate any and all progress we made this week. I guarantee you did something this week that made progress towards your goal. Writing those wins down and sharing them with other people is key to keeping energy and motivation high. We forget how much we do throughout the week when we aren’t intentional about keeping track of our progress Post in the comments.

@Ricky Arora I do my best to send one to every new client as long as I want to keep them as Clients. If it’s somebody, I hope to never see you again then I do not send a card I’m not perfect at it, but I try to send one on their birthday as well I don’t do that every year. I try to mix it up a little bit. I use an email service as well called blue Mountain that sends like really fine and creative emails. And I can put their name inside of an email that has like a song that sings happy birthday. It’s pretty fun. So I’m not the perfect perfection here Just intention and thoughtfulness
Chair Massage Marketing and Networking
Do you book appointments when you do chair massage? I did a chair massage event last night and I wanted to talk A little about events and 4 key things you want to do to make them successful. 1. Don’t make the mistake of being toooooo salesy. There were several people there and all they did was give me their thing. Pitch me their thing. This did not make me want to buy their thing. Mind you they were not vendors. That’s different. Be interested in people first before trying to be interesting. 2.If you’re a vendor be trying to book appointments on the spot. every single person got an card. And every single person got an offer to book an appointment today. 3. have an email list sign up in exchange for the free chair massage. This is important. Email list grow is a way to ensure you can always communicate with your clients and potential clients. This is the exchange. You give a free sample. And in exchange they agree to hear from you through email. Bonus if you get their phone number as well. Now you can do some sort of drawing for free hour, pick a winner and let everyone else know they didn’t win but they got a different offer they can use within 30 days. So we have some book now incentives, we have some booked clients from the event, we have some possible booked clients from the secondary offer and we have people on our list we can build connection and trust with long term. 4.look for referral partners Make sure you are looking for other people who can either add value to your clients and you can refer them clients and/or looking for people who will be able to refer you clients as well. 5.make sure you follow up with people after the event. You don’t want to meet people and then they never hear from you again. Out of sight out of mind. Follow referral partners on social media or friend them on Facebook so you promote, refer and share their stuff to add value to them. Email everyone who signed up your list and add value to them there. Offer an incentive to book once a month through email.

@Ann Marie Schofield 100% we won’t get them all. Especially if the event is way to far away from our location.

A small Gesture created a family tradition
I saw this story and I have to share it!! It just goes to show you what little personal touches in your clients experience can do to make a difference in their life and in your business! Let’s out care everyone!! ā€œLast year was the first Christmas our daughter Frankie—then three, turning four—got excited for the ritual of going to get a tree. I wanted the day to be really special for her, so I was psyched when my friend Zach told me he’d discovered an amazing Christmas tree stand called JVI Secret Gardens. I’ll admit to being surprised when we drove up: the stand was right off a busy road and didn’t have the New England-style winter wonderland charm I’d been expecting. But Frankie was delighted to pull her little brother around in an old-school red Radio Flyer wagon—even more so after she was offered a hot chocolate. Meanwhile, I was amused to see that the cut trees had been stuck back into the ground to look like they’d been planted, and that every one of them had a name. We spent some time deciding between Bernie and Morty. (Morty for the win.) Then the whole family posed for a picture, wearing the Santa hats and elf ears the stand provided, in front of our new Christmas tree. The kicker: before the team loaded a carefully wrapped Morty onto the top of our car, they sawed a round off the bottom of the trunk, so the tree could drink. But instead of tossing that round onto the compost, they drilled a hole and threaded a piece of wire through it: an ornament for our kids to decorate, and a permanent memento of Christmas 2024—which also happened to be our first in our new home. Want to guess where we got our tree this year? For the cost of a hot chocolate and twist of wire—plus a whole lot of creativity and intention—that stand turned a transaction into a tradition, ensuring they’ll be part of our family’s holidays from here on out.ā€
