posted rough draft - for your review and comments - thank you!
Hello Ray! wonderful program - here attached is my first draft of the Title Page, the Opening Materials, the Introduction, and the first three chapters. This is a definitive book - establishing my messaging and connections in this domain. Been working on developing all this over 50 years - and been writing this since January in a Substack with a mountain of stuff LOL good grief LOL - so I see this book as a critical stake in the ground .... So it will be longer than 20,000 words and 50-60 pages. Probably about 50,000-100,000 words and 150-200 pages. I'm making it a combination of a story and discussion - like you say, story and point should accompany - so I'm jumping into that like a kid cannonballing into a warm summer lake! And of course - appreciate all of Dr. Fred's input. I plan to have this book finished by the end of this week - and submitted for copyright - and trademark the key branding phrases - all of which are entirely my own. Totally look forward to your comments and suggestions. Thank you !!!

@Ericka Thompson thank you very much! Truly appreciate. And you moved to Japan - the country shaped by Zen in so many ways - so very interesting. I am certain that you have a great volcano of new creation and a great river of new service shaping themselves below the surface [masquerading as "procrastination"]. All strength and blessings to you.

@Ray Edwards Ray: THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!! So grateful ... Deepest thanks for reading this so thoroughly and providing such extensive insightful comments. And your summary assessment is particularly appreciated - you know of course the steepness of the climb involved in authorship - and the energizing value of good cheer along the way. Ray: your book "How to write copy that sells" - very moving. Very ! Deeply feel your passion and your pain. And you look so well in the camera - praying for you and that you may continue to have the strength of mustangs ... Specifically - fully value and agree with your comments. In fact I'm already engaged in a massive evolution of the book - the book is really in the driver's seat LOL! ... I'm sure you know what I mean. I cannot tell you how much I'd value and appreciate a call with you. Name the day and time that works for you - and I'm there. No questions asked. All dropped to meet with you about this. Ray - in further response to your invitation on Zoom yesterday to suggest an alternative - first, I would LOVE to work with you. Nonetheless, my family's financial status at this time cannot support the $30K commitment. The $3K commitment is within our reach - even if that's almost half more in crazy Canadian dollars - particularly if I could break that out in instalments over 6 months or so. And that would work if I could have the opportunity to work directly with you, to finish this and to publish and launch and market it. I would be more than happy to involve you directly in sharing in the proceeds of the book, if that has any attraction for you ... please consider any option that might work for you - I will be truly grateful. If this doesn't make sense to you and work for you at this time - then that is also understood and totally good. Looking forward to your reply with the date and time that works for you to talk. Thank you very much again. All Heart.
GALUK - Useful Questions to answer in writing
Useful Questions to answer in writing WHO do you help? Women 45+ (50+) in business who want to upgrade their life/business Corporate, ex-corporate, solo business owners, service based business owners, where THEY are the business WHAT is their most painful problem? They feel like they don’t have control over their life They KNOW they are on the cusp of a new chapter yet they are not able to get traction to get going or sustain actions/momentum. Feel STUCK and in their own way - unable to move forward or make meaningful progress in their life They have ideas but don’t act on them or are not successful in implementing/making progress. They have significant inner conflict about taking the actions; they don’t feel resourceful; their sense of self has eroded; their decisiveness wavers They don’t see a way out, a way forward They are despondent - “is this it? How come i can’t figure this out? I don’t WANT to be done, I’ve got more to live, to give - The expanded direction competes with other “life” events /transitions, which require emotional energy and time NOT making progress and emotional turmoil that accompanies it HOW does that problem show up for them? (know what it is but not doing it - Wheel spinning Continue to have a number of starts and stops and redirects, only to circle back and repeat it - no firm decision and then action to implement. “Analysis paralysis” - Feel emotional ups and downs - exaggerated when they see the “on hold” nature of their life Days into weeks and months, and still nothing to show for their “dreams” - and because of this, they are starting to waiver and wobble about what they think is possible for them They see OTHERS who are dramatically less qualified than they are - visible on the social media platforms - getting the deals, getting the attention - and yet they KNOW they are sitting on a gold mine of ideas, of vision, of energy OR They are KNOW its time to shift gears away from their current position - but feel frozen because don’t know the next move. Justify and excuse their inaction because their comfort and familiarity is all in the past - yet

@Deborah Galuk and @Ericka Thompson - sensing your energies ... I'm speaking as someone married to a powerhouse wife, who started some 20 years or more ago with no formal training and simply an interest in food and cooking, and since then she has delivered a province-wide weekly commercially-supported TV food show, published two best-selling cookbooks, written a widely-read blog, and now started and built from scratch her own successful and growing café celebrating its fourth anniversary and about to triple in size ... in the food and restaurant biz, littered with failure, dominated by men ... Deborah - it strikes me that you are deeply connected to women seeking to find and express their creativity - but tied up in knots over uncertainty - and - dare I say it - uncertain not simply about their outcomes, but also about their standing and their self-respect ... my wife is the humblest and most down-to-earth person you've ever met. She berates me if I ever speak proudly of her to anybody [LOL]. She has no problem, ever, standing in a supermarket for 6 hours meeting people, selling her cookbooks and talking about spices and how to roast a chicken so it's tender through and through ... now she serves in her café and does the shopping and talks to clients and celebrates her staff ... not to mention she's raised two powerhouse sons [and kept her family well-fed LOL] ... So Deborah - if I dare suggest - strikes me you can so very much help women step into their passion - if each one of them can just do that - and follow where that leads, with all heart and soul - so much bubbles up out of the depths of our being and becoming - and in your words and in your eyes, I see that you care and you want to help them take those steps. Start that movement .... Check out "Freedom Queen" - something similar that you could model. all blessings to you both, Deborah and Ericka Michael Gabriel ps. wondering if you'd both care to read and review my book when it's done in the next few weeks - please share your emails - mine is michael@heartgold.ca
Can a Foreign National Copyright in USA?
1. A foreign national can absolutely register a U.S. copyright. The U.S. Copyright Office allows registration by anyone whose work is protected under the Berne Convention (that’s most of the world). You do not need to be a U.S. citizen or resident. All you need is: - A completed application form (can be filed online) - A deposit copy of the work (digital upload is fine for most works) - The filing fee So, a writer in Ghana, London, or Lagos can register their book directly at copyright.gov. The registration is just as valid and enforceable as if they lived in New York. 2. Having a U.S. person file it “for you.” Yes, you can have a U.S. representative (an attorney, publisher, or agent) handle the filing on your behalf. But note — that person isn’t the copyright owner unless you’ve transferred ownership in writing. They’re simply acting as a correspondent or authorized agent for registration purposes. The ownership stays with you, the author or rightful claimant. 3. Why it matters If you ever want to bring a lawsuit for copyright infringement in U.S. federal court, a U.S. registration (or a pending application) is required — even for foreign nationals. So registration strengthens your hand worldwide. So yes, you can file directly from anywhere — or appoint someone local to do it.

Thank you very much again Dr. Fred! Might you be willing to share your email info for further exploration of anything that comes up? Perhaps "simple" questions only - you would reply advising if any question strays into legal consultation?
