International Law Today
I struggle with the state of international law as it exists today. I have read and continue to learn about various governmental and non-governmental organizations that have been built, evolved and grown since WW2. I also am keenly aware of the UN structural deficiencies and how various NGOs and special interests are able to more than influence. It leads me to the conclusion that the current system is completely broken.

@Solar Flare do you believe the current system can be salvaged?

@Solar Flare I do agree. I just don't see how the UN or WEF or BIS and the like could be reformed or reimagined. There was a strong attempt to re-juice the international order around climate change and global health. I would argue that it is tough to get buy in when several large countries reject or circumvent, assuming a reasonable consensus on ACTION could be found. America's alliance of the willing in Gulf War 2/war on terror, and the Russia Ukraine conflict has exposed additional shortcomings of the system. I would argue KFOR and SFOR with the former Yugoslavia also was poorly handled by the international community. Seems that the rise of wars by proxy has done much more harm than good and has lead to mass migrations and failed states, especially from the African part of the world and the Arab world.
The War Will Cross the Atlantic
If Israel were to cease to exist tomorrow, the war would not end. It would simply cross the Atlantic. I grew up in Iran. The regime forced us to chant "Death to America." Western observers often operate under a comfortable delusion. They believe that the hostility consuming the Middle East is merely a localized territorial dispute. They convince themselves that Israel is the provocateur, creating enemies where none previously existed. This is a fatal strategic error. To the revolutionary ideologies fueling the regime I lived under, the hierarchy of hatred is explicit. In their doctrine, Israel is merely the "Little Satan," a forward operating base. You, the United States, are the "Great Satan." You are the ultimate prize. The goal of these movements is not to liberate people. It is a revolutionary, expansionist theology that demands universal submission. Israel is not the source of their rage. It is simply the frontline. It acts as a kinetic buffer, absorbing the blows intended for Western civilization. When Americans call for the abandonment of their ally, they are not voting for peace. They are voting to remove the only obstacle standing between the enemy and their own shores. The enemy knows exactly who their main target is. It is time you knew it too.

The sad part is the revolutionary ideals dovetail neatly with the 'progressive left' (don't dogpile on me for that phrase, it is hard to communicate general groupings in today's paradigm) here in the US, which is why we see such a strong alignment between the old guard socialists and the young college progressives around anti-colonialism and anti-capitalism and any other marginalized people (real or imagined). The old guard progressive intellectuals know what they are doing and know how to use useful idiots to grow their agenda. They truly believe we would be better off to the wolves and that is disturbing.

I actually had not come across any of the three content creators you mentioned but did a cursory review of what I could find about them. Scrolled through videos on their you tube platform. I would say the only one that interested me was the history focused guy Metatron as far as me personally. I assume each of these creators at one point or another made some comments about Israel, Jews, Gaza etc?. If that is the case, and I may be jumping to that conclusion, based on your feedback of profit seeking, and in the context of our conversation. I would logically believe they would be doing it: - To throw a bone to those crowds to drive engagement on a hot topic, jumping on a current event to see what drives views and clicks. - They may have or are developing sympathies they may not have had - They may have been paid for the content If I'm far afield please redirect and we can explore further.
How screwed is Europe?
This is something that worries me lots. The boundaryless immigration towards European countries, the utter fail to adress that by governments, the rise in criminality and agression towards women, the attempt to erase native cultures and believes.. The apparant EU push for more destabilisation and the woke-rethoric, the NATO call to arms, while a decline in Education, decline of GDP, decline of safety, standstill of innovations, housing shortage, and a steep rise in livingscosts, ... To name a few.. How screwed is Europe?

Europe has a 5th column and it is even worse because it is not a unified 5th column in that it is comprised of 1st and 2nd generation muslims from all around the world, of varying ethnicities and original nationalities. Each nation has failed massively to integrate the people who they allowed to come, and their political strength has reached a tipping point in most of these countries. I fear for the historical ethnic majorities in those countries and the Jews and any other religious and ethnic group that would be rejected by Islamic fundamentalism. There is no easy way out for anyone, it is a crisis that deepens every day and history says it will be very bad for all.
The F-35 Deal Redefining Power in the Middle East
For decades, one principle defined the U.S.–Israel alliance: Israel’s qualitative military edge was sacred. Washington promised that no regional power would ever receive hardware that could challenge Israel’s supremacy. That commitment is now being cracked open. The decision to sell F-35s to Saudi Arabia is not just another arms deal. It is the first real breach in a security doctrine that shaped the Middle East for half a century. The F-35 is not simply a fighter jet. It is the core of Israel’s deterrence architecture, the system that guarantees freedom of action from Tehran to Damascus. And suddenly, the same platform is being handed to a rival state whose long-term intentions remain unpredictable. This is not a symbolic shift. It is a strategic recalibration by Washington that signals Israel’s guaranteed military advantage is no longer untouchable. For the first time, the United States is treating Israel’s edge as a negotiable asset. And that change will alter the balance of power in the region.

I didn't like the news when I read it, but and I say this with doubts and a BIG grain of salt, I have to think the US would not do this unless we (western security alliance) already have the ability to counter with future tech. Maybe I am wearing rose colored glasses?

I find it has become difficult to reason with supporters of the now new approach in the US of 'Democratic Socialism' It feels like their supporters cannot or will not see the clear horrible outcomes of their policy prescriptions.
