I just finished creating a custom MCP server for SmartLead. Was having too many issues with the Instantly API's so we decided to move to SmartLead. Rather than build a bunch of HTTP Requests to all the API endpoints I figured it was a good time to try building my own MCP Server. Took a bit of trial and error but when I added the MCP Client node and pointed to my server and hit the dropdown to pick the functions and saw the full list I felt like a little kid with a new toy! LOL I will say that it is important to not consider this a solution looking for a problem. If you have a use case where you only have a couple API endpoints that you are going to be using it probably doesn't make sense to create a custom MCP Server. But if you have 8 or more then it sure is nice to have a super small and clean workflow with a single node that can do everything.

Use an HHTP request and set the response type to file. If I understand your question correctly :-)

This is by far the most important piece of content for new Agency owners. Most people get too wrapped up in the technology and spend months in the learning stage. While it is important to understand the technology it is a business so you need to land clients. Being a part of communities like this open you up to many people that are further down the knowledge road and can help you if you just ask. So do keep learning but try and land a few projects at the same time.

I used Digital Ocean. Pretty cheap and they have a preconfigured droplet ready to go.
