PPS Skool community is now Public.
Hello PPS Skool community members, As @Robert Nagy and I shared a month ago via pinned post "A change is coming to our PPS Skool Community" (pinned) and via DM and email, today, 01st June, we are change this setting to public. This means anyone visiting the community page will be able to read the posts and comments inside, including ones you've already made. And we can reach more independent consultants and make it easier for them to find us when searching online and in the Skool Discovery where people can search for communities of interest. Thank you to everyone who has provided supportive comments and messages about our decision to make the community Public and more vibrant. We will still screen members joining via their LinkedIn profile. Skool has some excellent features now to prevent bots, high risk or fake accounts joining. Any questions, feel free to ask 😊 PS : It's also the first day of Winter in Australia and happens to be Rob's birthday. Feel free to share some love in the comments 💕 PPS: We will be opening up Growth Lab soon, of course, you will be the first to learn more!

Happy birthday @Robert Nagy
Tentative today (Showcase 4)
Hey lovely people, I’m a tentative for today due to the paid hustle possibly being a priority to side hustle - I’ll catch up in own time if I am an apology. Final week of the major campaign I’m running. Exciting times 🤗💜🤗

Feeling a little isolated in your consulting business?
Edit : Coworking Session (pilot) for 90 mins is now scheduled on Thursday 4 December at 10am-1130am AEDT. See Calendar 🗓️ for Zoom link. Running your own business as an independent consultant can feel overwhelming and lonely at times. That’s why we’re thinking about offering regular online co-working sessions. Our intention is to help you focus, make progress, and feel part of a supportive group. Here’s how it'd work: Rob and I will schedule 90-minute sessions on Zoom, which will be listed in the Skool calendar. Each session will be divided into two rounds, with a short break in between. We’ll begin with a quick hello and check-in. You can ask a question or get a bit of help if needed. We’ll also make space for sharing wins, so we can celebrate progress and encourage one another to step outside self-limiting boundaries. Then we each focus on one important task. After the break we’ll head into round two and continue working quietly with mics off. You might use the time to: - Finish a client report - Follow up on proposals - Plan a workshop agenda - Write a LinkedIn post - Plan your weekly outreach - Review feedback and refine your offer No RSVP needed. Just show up when it suits you. Comment below if this sounds helpful. We’d love for you to join us.

@Jodie Willmer yes, music is good for the soul. It’s one of my daughter’s fave artists (Kendrick Lamar) - so she’s stoked!
Catching up, and loving Showcase sessions 1, 2 and 3
Hi everyone, I've been launching a major initiative for the organisation I'm contracting to, and finally caught up on Showcase sessions 1 and 2. Also tuned into Michelle Dowsett's video for session 3, and look forward to our session on 24/11/25. I've supported several community members bring their brand to life, when I ran a graphic design studio between part-time contract work. It's great to see familiar faces here @Jeanette White @Christine Boucher. I chose to step away from design, as I was creatively burnt out. Now, I'm on a limited tenure Engagement Officer contract within a not-for-profit organisation. They're also a peak body for the profession in which they offer accreditation, and the level of top-down-hierarchy makes me realise why self-employment resonates 😀 My current role is 100% funded by a federal government grant, which expires 30/6/2026. Our team is amazing, because the leader is an intuitive, values-based person who comes from a place of enablement, and human-centred leadership, rather than power or hierarchy. I'm sitting with the concept of bringing a new advisory/consultancy idea to life - however, it's more aligned with the postgraduate journey I'm on through an MBA (Social Impact/Change Management/Sustainable and Inclusive Business). At present, I'm biased against returning to graphic and web design, and want my work to be large-scale impactful. I'm also a passionate accidental activist, so I know who I will and won't work with. I know that Package, Promote, Scale will be a good resource to turn to when developing an offering. Grateful to have access to this. Thanks for creating the space to share, @Jodie Willmer and @Robert Nagy. Look forward to distilling my burning questions for tomorrow's session. Warmest Merryn
