ungating query
After getting ungated for an ASIN on Amazon and submitting an invoice, can I purchase the product from a reputable retailer like Walmart, or do I need to buy directly from the supplier or distributor every time?

You can usually buy from a reputable retailer like Walmart for your first invoice to get ungated, but Amazon prefers invoices from wholesalers or distributors for ongoing purchases. It’s safer to have a consistent, legitimate supply source in case they ever check.
Nobody wants to hear this but it's the truth about Amazon Canada
You still gotta eat s*** for a year to really prove to Amazon that you are a legitimate seller. And that's the only way out. The only way the light on the other side of the tunnel is showing up every day.

You’re not wrong, @Anthony Mancini . The first year can definitely feel like a grind, but showing up consistently really is what separates the people who make it from those who quit early. Tough, but real. 💯

@Anthony Mancini Absolutely, Makes total sense volume and proven performance really show Amazon that you’re reliable. It’s tough for new sellers, but those first milestones are what build credibility and open the bigger opportunities.
