@Jim Flach wow that sounds like an amazing experience 😊!
What the heck???
This guy was beautiful all summer outside... brought him in last week. Just gave it a good watering and trimmed it a little. It was so lush n beautiful. :( im guessing it got overwatered. So I will clean it up and probably trim it back and let it start over. Hopefully it will make it. :) these ivy are pretty tough tho, so im sure it will be fine. But pretty frustrating thats for sure! Do you have any plants that are "divas" ? I know im not the only one!

No surprise for me Maidenhair Ferns! Lol
Fall is here!
Well, here is the Northwoods of Wisconsin, the temps are starting to get to almost freezing, so I've been working on getting my houseplants back in the house, and it is quite the chore. But they love it and do so well! Do you put your plants outside in the warmer months? Do you have a process for bringing them back inside? I usually inspect them, take cuttings, repot if need be. But I def check them for pests, and spray them down for pests.

@Amy Locks well I’m upside down, a day ahead and coming into spring but my inside plants stay inside all the time….not sure but I think putting them outside would confuse them (or maybe just me lol). But I would LOVE advice on how to not kill maiden hair ferns. I love them but I have never been successful in keeping them alive. They seem to be super susceptible to drafts?
National Plant?
So thinking about favourite houseplants made me think about my countries national plant. The silver fern. They are called that because the underside of the fronds are silver and the imagery is extensively used. The koru shape is widely used in traditional tattoos as well

Hey my wild sisters!!! This is from yesterday’s forest walk. I’ve turned the fern frond over so you can see the silver!
