Spring!!!!!
Happy March you guys! I just wanted to hop on here and see how everyone is doing?! I was sick this last week, and work has been busier than i thought it would be. So I apologize for not being on here. But guess what?! I looked at or memeber count and we are up to 135! 135!!! I CANT BELIEVE IT!! THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU!! !!!!!THAT MAKES ME DO SUCH A HAPPY DANCE!!!! Anyways, how's everyone else doing? How close is spring where you are? Or are you already in your spring? Here in Northern Wisconsin, we having started getting warmer, but we aren't out of the woods yet. We always have another cold spell before it really starts warming up. Which brings me to another thought...remember to check your frost dates in your area before planting if you dont know your area. I used to tell people they could plant opener of fishing season which is in May. People get antsy, and start thier gardens and then loose it all and are starting over becoase of frost. So I usually say first weekend of June is usually pretty safe.
Spring!!!!!
Cut roses question
Hi! 👋🏼 I have always wondered how to stop this, or if it's just inevitable? The droopy stem right under the flower head of a rose. I've seen a Gerber daisy trick with a pin through the stem, but I've never tried it. Figured this is a good place to ask!

So that happens when they get cut and are thirsty. Cut roses like that never last long. Cutting the stems at angle, and every other day helps. Also using sugar water or those little packets thye give you. Also keep them in the fridge if its hot in your house..that will help them last longer. Oh, and take off the outer petals of the flower head, will help the bloom last longer too.

🌿Check-in🌿
🌿 Plant Parents Check-In! 🌿 Real talk—plants don’t come with instruction manuals, and neither do we. So let’s do a quick pulse check 👇 What season are you in right now? 🌱 Thriving – everything’s growing and you’re feeling confident 🍃 Learning – some wins, some “why are you drooping??” moments 🥀 Struggling – plants AND motivation are a bit meh 🪴 Restarting – took a break and easing back in Drop the emoji that fits you best and, if you want, tell us one plant you’re proud of OR one that’s currently testing your patience 😅 No judgment here—this is a learning + growing space (for humans too).
