I am curious for hacks and examples of options for when eating out. Travel is going to happen. Best hacks and tips for fast food when traveling! So means going to pick up to take back to hotel or eat while driving.

@Nicole Duquette thank you. I do tend to bring cut fruit and veggies for the car and hotel. Sometimes protein bar do the morning. I like to stick to Greek and Mexican fast food when I can. Good substitute options

Food waste va finishing the plate
Just wondering if just me or this happens to others. Making my lunch. I had it planned some cooked chicken with tomatoes, cucumber and red onion and a little feta cheese. As putting together see this handful of pasta leftover. Did I need it, no, was not planning to have but my mind went to, don’t want that to go to waste so I should just add and use it up. Was it a good meal, yep, but after and even while I am eating I am like why did I add the pasta? I did not need carbs, I had planned without but more concerned about food waste than eating the extra. Why do we feel that need to finish everything? I am full but still feel need to finish my plate. How do you stop thinking this way?

I am a fan of spinach, broccoli and cauliflower. Still have some of each in the fridge. I would at some time like to try leaks and fennel but not something eaten before so would need a recipe and instructions on how to cut and prepare.

I wonder if the inflammation factor is erased in total or just partially when you cook and then cool pasta, rice, potatoes? Apparently, this changes the starches. I wonder if makes it less inflammatory then?
