Food waste va finishing the plate
Just wondering if just me or this happens to others. Making my lunch. I had it planned some cooked chicken with tomatoes, cucumber and red onion and a little feta cheese. As putting together see this handful of pasta leftover. Did I need it, no, was not planning to have but my mind went to, donβt want that to go to waste so I should just add and use it up. Was it a good meal, yep, but after and even while I am eating I am like why did I add the pasta? I did not need carbs, I had planned without but more concerned about food waste than eating the extra. Why do we feel that need to finish everything? I am full but still feel need to finish my plate. How do you stop thinking this way?
