Major Project! Come along?
It's been a bit, friends! I've been reacclimating to a drastically different lifestyle in NZ. From freedom to 50-60hr workweeks and little left in the tank to give in the downtime. Seasons change, but my ambitions don't! I aspire to make emotional intelligence more accessible so we can have more aware, intentional, and purposeful lives. I'm trying to mould all my interests of human wellbeing in a spiritual, scientific, experiential and energetic sense into one tangible, universal thread. I present to you: Emotions as a Magic System! The epic @Brendan OCallaghan has begun my cover art behind the scenes. the first drafts have been epic, yet it may evolve in a few playful ways. But he just took it upon himself behind the scenes and surprised me with it on his own terms, so I'm supremely grateful that to have a cover in motion helps the concept feel it has a soul. I'm going to post the entire book piece by piece so we can turn it into a living conversation and stack it all in a new course. It will be FREE here, but eventually published and sold elsewhere. (Our little secret and thanks for being a part of the community. 😎🫶 First and foremost: I'm torn between the Titles: And without knowing more, what impressions do you assume you'd get based off of those title options?

@Georgiana D great, now I have that song in my head! There's a season for wrecking ball energy, and for the opposite, as well as the in-between. Are you in wrecking ball season?!

@Dan 'Remmy' Stourac it's a matter of priorities. Right now my priorities are focused on building the foundation of my business, which involves relationships and trust. Priorities shift in life, as you know. I'll be curious how the transition and return home goes for you. While I'm excited to have you back on this side of the world, I sense that place is less a part of your identity, and I feel like there's things there to be worked through, but instead a release was a more appropriate action.
Emotional Magicians - What kind are you?
If you had the magical ability to summon ONE emotion in other people, which would it be? It's kinda funky because that by itself sounds like a super-power, doesn't it? But that's actually just a normal thing we can do. Depending how intentional and dedicated you are to the craft. I'm diving deeper and deeper into emotions as a magic system. Seeing our life in a more whimsical and skill-nurturing sort of system, I've blasted open my own mind a few times in the last month. My answer is firstly 'Gratitude' of course. Then courage and curiosity would follow....I'm dedicating my life to summoning that in other's already. But there are many ways for me to approach that: - Storytelling - Guiding questions - Expressing it - Challenges - Making it the source of why/how i act in the world and see what results that produces for my life - Guilting and Shaming - Appropriating fear - Can you think of any others? Some methods are more ethical, fun, or artistic than others. But they all work, don't they? How do you summon the primary emotion you wish to provoke in others in your life? Bonus points if you can share what sort of wizard/character may embody your emotion.

A motto my husband and I use is - kill em with kindness. This works great for people who are trying to put you down to build themselves up - by not reacting negatively and giving the results they are trying to get, their intentions backfire and they sulk away with their tail between their legs. For the test of people that don't have ill intentions, kindness is contagious and they share it with others after receiving it unsolicited from you. 💓 The character for this would be the Cheshire Cat.
Every Unique Definition of 'Rich'
What is abundance to you may be different to you than for me. Since ProSpirit regards the prosperity of the human spirit, what does 'Wealthy' mean to you? I can focus on all sorts of aspects depending on greatest curiosity and communal interest. What you consider richness depends on what you chase in this life. I decided to challenge myself with minimalism and not own anything more than what fits in a huge backpack, a duffle bag and my van. It redefined what felt 'essential' in my life. Along the road of this amazing adventure through New Zealand, i reflected the only thing i crave more often was quality companionship to enrich an already good life. I played by an extreme budget to stretch out for months on the road, so I only ate for fuel, not for lavish flavour. I chose what sacrifices made for an optimal experience. I was genuinely enriched by being able to nurture this community, these friendships and watch you all interact and support one another. I may have been physically alone, but in spirit, I felt connect. How cool is that?! What is 'Wealth' to you?

Wealth has different meanings in different aspects of my life. Of course my initial thoughts are of money, but I'm so wealthy in assets, experiences, education, and relationships. I'm wealthy 💓

@Dan 'Remmy' Stourac that's hilarious! I didn't know that.
Optimal Sacrifices
We are all making sacrifices in life. How do you know you're making ones you're happy and proud of? A 'good' sacrifice would be an example like chess. If you can bait the opponent with a lower quality character - pawn - to take out a higher value one, then that's a 'good' sacrifice. Something lower for something of greater value. Right? So what sacrifices are you making to exchange lower value for higher value in life? It comes in ALL forms. Time to cook - healthier body Time checking in on friends - harmonious relationships Work for $$$... but are we content with that value exchange? Where is the discontent in your life? It may be attached to a value exchange you may be unhappy with, but haven't yet put it into words. I was unhappy being so exhausting being a physical labourer. I put a lot of pride in being the strongest worker. But I was just the most tired guy getting paid the same as the laziest guy. It is WISDOM and TEACHABILITY that raises your salary. So I became a learner, so I could replace my physical labour and delegate projects. Some people are happy to explore the pride of strong workers, but we need a backbone to ask how we may elevate our value and position ourselves in new skills to actually elevate our compensation. You're allowed to be discontent IF you are willing to do the uncomfortable work and navigate into the unknown and explore different variations of sacrifice to feel contentment with your energetic exchange in the world. What sort of 'good' sacrifices have you made in your life? How did it feel navigating those choices?
