Hey all you lovely folks! As it is obvious, life got super busy after returning to Canada. I’ve been reestablishing love for a few months and am finally planting some roots. Though my season demands a shift of priorities. I WILL have this community kickoff again in the future as you’ve all been a major blessing during my time abroad and refining my thinking, new book and enriching one another as well. What a privilege it’s been to bring you guys together here! Please feel free to follow/add me wherever @remmystourac in the meantime. Inspiration is volatile magic. It does not live in you, it visits you. It arrives like a spark from somewhere beyond your current capacity and says, “You could be more.” Inspiration as Ascension Magic Inspiration lifts perception before it lifts skill. It shows you: - A higher standard. - A wider possibility. - A truer alignment. - A version of yourself not yet stabilized. Inspiration is preview magic. It temporarily lets you inhabit a future state before you’ve earned it. That glimpse reorganizes desire. Suddenly, the ordinary feels insufficient. This is not always a sign of discontent, but the yearning for vertical expansion. What Inspiration Actually Does Inspiration does three things: - It stretches identity. - It reorients attention upward. - It injects energy into motion. It is the ignition spell. But ignition is not propulsion. The Corrupted Form: Borrowed Elevation Corrupted inspiration seeks the feeling without the becoming. It shows up as: - Endless consumption of motivational content. - Idol worship without imitation. - Comparison masked as admiration. - Starting projects without finishing them. - Emotional highs without disciplined follow-through. Here, inspiration becomes stimulation. Instead of building capacity, it creates dependency on the next hit of elevation. The nervous system begins craving the rush of possibility rather than the labour of transformation. Corrupted inspiration says, “I love who I could be.” But avoids the cost of becoming that evolved person. The Addictive Loop When corrupted, inspiration: - Inflates identity temporarily. - Collapses it afterward. - Produces shame for inaction. - Convinces oneself that seeking inspiration is the same as doing the work. This is why some people feel perpetually inspired yet unchanged. The spark keeps landing on wet wood. The Purified Form: Embodied Aspiration Purified inspiration converts vision into structure. It asks: “What is the smallest faithful step toward this?”

Arousal is ignition magic. Not just sexual, though that is one of its most visible forms. Arousal is the system’s way of announcing, “Energy is mobilizing.” It is activation with direction. Arousal as Activation Magic Arousal is what happens when the nervous system moves from neutral into charged readiness. It can be sparked by: - Attraction. - Fear. - Competition. - Novelty. - Risk. - Beauty. - Opportunity. The body does not initially distinguish the story. It distinguishes intensity. Heart rate rises. Focus narrows. Sensation sharpens. Attention locks in. Arousal prepares the vessel to move. It is energy made available. The Dual Nature of Arousal Arousal is not inherently sexual. It is not inherently dangerous. It is amplification. The same physiological machinery powers: - Falling in love. - Stage performance. - Creative breakthroughs. - Public speaking anxiety. - Confrontation. - Sexual desire. The interpretation determines the experience. The body provides charge. The mind assigns meaning. Arousal as Attention Magnet Arousal narrows attention. When aroused, the system prioritizes: - The object of desire. - The source of threat. - The target of pursuit. Peripheral information fades. This is useful for action, while also is risky for judgment. Arousal accelerates commitment. The Corrupted Form: Compulsive Stimulation When arousal becomes the goal rather than the signal, corruption begins. It manifests as: - Chasing intensity for its own sake. - Escalating stimulation to feel normal. - Confusing chemistry with compatibility. - Making decisions during peak activation. - Addiction to novelty or drama. Here, the system becomes dependent on activation to feel alive. Calmness begins to feel empty. Stillness feels intolerable. Corruption of arousal transforms vitality into dysregulation. Arousal Without Integration Unintegrated arousal can: - Override discernment. - Collapse boundaries. - Create premature attachment. - Trigger impulsive behavior.

Secrecy is containment magic. It is the spell of selective visibility. Not everything hidden is shame. Not everything revealed is the truth. Secrecy governs what is allowed to exist in the shadows and what is brought to light. Secrecy is not inherently good or bad. Rather, it is a timely gatekeeper of access and intimacy. Secrecy as Boundary Magic Secrecy creates the layers of your interior life. It suggests: - “This is not for everyone.” - “This is not for now.” - “This is not safe to expose.” Without secrecy, there is no privacy. Without privacy, there is no self. Secrecy protects: - Vulnerability before it stabilizes. - Ideas before they mature. - Grief before it can be metabolized. - Love before it can withstand scrutiny. Secrecy is incubation. It is either the chrysalis waiting for its optimal moment to break open, or a locked box you adopt, with no way to unburden its weight. The Weight of Secret Storage What is hidden gathers charge. Secrets concentrate energy because they are: - Unshared. - Unwitnessed. - Often unprocessed. Containment amplifies intensity. This is why secrets can feel heavy. The system is holding uncirculated energy. Secrecy as Social Control Magic Secrecy also shapes power structures. Who knows what determines: - Influence. - Safety. - Access. - Belonging. Information inequity creates leverage. Secrecy can either be used to stabilize or dominate systems. Personal or communal. The Corrupted Form: Isolation and Shame Secrecy corrupts when it becomes: - Avoidance of accountability. - Concealment of harm. - Identity built around hiding. - Fear of being known. Corrupted secrecy produces: - Chronic tension. - Fragmented identity. - Paranoia. - Emotional stagnation. The hidden self grows distorted when never exposed to light. Secrecy meant to protect becomes secrecy that imprisons. The Weight of Unshared Truth Unshared truth consumes attention. It requires: - Monitoring and editing. - Splitting narratives. - Guarding reactions.

Sacrifice is exchange magic. It is the spell that bargains: “This for that.” Every sacrifice declares a hierarchy of value. You relinquish something immediate to secure something deeper, longer, or more aligned. Smart sacrifices mean trading lower value for greater value. This, as a magic system, is understanding how ideal sacrifices lead to trading up with reality. Sacrifice as Value-Revealing Magic Sacrifice exposes what you truly worship. Not what you claim to value. What you will bleed for. Time sacrificed reveals priority. Comfort sacrificed reveals devotion. Ego sacrificed reveals growth. Sacrifice is belief made visible. Sacrifice as Future-Binding Magic Sacrifice shifts resources from now to later. It converts: - Short-term relief into long-term strength. - Immediate pleasure into sustained capacity. - Safety into expansion. It is the mechanism behind: - Training. - Parenthood. - Mastery. - Commitment. - Moral courage. Without sacrifice, nothing compounds. The Energetics of Loss Every sacrifice creates absence. That absence can feel: - Noble. - Painful. - Unfair. - Liberating. The system must metabolize the loss or resentment forms. Unprocessed sacrifice becomes bitterness. The Corrupted Form: Martyrdom Corrupted sacrifice seeks identity through suffering. It manifests as: - Giving to control outcomes. - Over-giving to secure love. - Self-denial without purpose. - Resentment disguised as virtue. - Suffering being performed for recognition. Here, sacrifice becomes currency. The giver keeps score and the magic warps. Instead of value clarity, it produces hidden contracts. The Invisible Contract Trap Corrupted sacrifice often carries silent expectations like: “I gave this. You owe me.” When repayment does not come, anger surfaces. This is not a sacrifice. It is a negotiation without disclosure. The Purified Form: Conscious Offering Purified sacrifice is chosen freely and cleanly. It: - Names the cost honestly. - Accepts the loss without keeping score. - Aligns with core values. - Does not demand applause.
