Everyday Life
Hi Yall! Sorry I have not had a single moment to write a blog! I am a mom of a 1 year old and I also work a full time job on the side. The holidays were very busy and were wonderful! I loved making all my pies from scratch. I made some pumpkin pies and apple pies! I have started making my pies with a crumb on top! Kind of like an Apple crisp. They turned out so good. Since I have gone gluten free I have spent years trying to perfect recipes. I have failed many and I have found some absolutely delicious ones that I made my own. The one recipe I love the most is my pumpkin bread recipe it’s so simple and so good. I have been thinking of starting a new line or products and didn’t know what people thought. I was thinking of making box mixes and with instructions for others to make my recipes but don’t necessarily have to spend all the money on my goods. What are y’all’s opinion? Yes or no?

Gluten Free Baking
After years of baking I had to switch things up. I found out I had celiac disease in 2017 and I felt like my whole world did a 180. Baking as I knew it felt new and challenging. Working with flour that has a hard time rising and a hard time creating the right texture. It’s a battle that I then just began to learn about. Gluten free baking is so much more about texture than just flour. It’s a science that has taken years of trial and error to perfect recipes. Now these recipe are addicting and delicious and so simple to make. Now which cookies are your favorite??

Becoming Gluten Free
2017 was a year that changed my life forever… I didn’t understand why I was in so much pain or where it was coming from. I was a college athlete and training 3 times a day and always in pain. Nothing seemed to help. So I went to the ER begging for help. They couldn’t figure it out. I went on two more ER trips before I went to the gastroenterologist. The gastroenterologist didn’t know either but some blood work and a procedure had finally determined I had celiac disease… my whole life now has been changed I didn’t even know how much.
