Facebook Leucovorin Group Shut Down
Hello! I just recently learned that the 80K plus FB Leucovorin for Autism Group was shut down by Facebook. One of the best things about the Skool platform is that they cannot remove groups without cause. If you have friends or family who are looking for support please encourage them to join our group here. Thank you! https://www.skool.com/holistic-autism-treatments-8518/about?ref=a391f4cca3f641a2917cef9c0555b493

Explaining an Autism Diagnosis to your child
When my son was first diagnosed with autism at age 3 I worried about how I would tell him about his diagnosis as he got a little older... I looked for books in the library and Amazon, I couldn't find anything that really worked, most books were either for other neurotypical children explaining what autism was or it was about a character with autism. So I created this picture book to explain an autism diagnosis to a child who has autism. If you're looking for something similar please feel free to download it for FREE here: https://functionalautism.com/your-brain-works-differently-and-thats-okay

Leucovorin for ASD
There is a section in the course that covers Leucovorin (Folinic acid) as an "off-label" intervention for autism symptoms more specifically speech. However based on observation in treating patients in my own practice I've seen it improve social reciprocity as well. I recently came across a study done in China recently that echos this finding. I wanted to include it here: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12073535/ Those who have used Folinic acid or leucovorin with their child have you noticed this as well?

@Kate Hotz Did you have to do a b12 deficiency test before getting the prescription? And do you give b12 supplements along with the Leucoverin?

I’m a mom to a ten year old boy who was dx with autism at age 2. I will always research and ask many questions to help my child’s challenges.
