Explaining an Autism Diagnosis to your child
When my son was first diagnosed with autism at age 3 I worried about how I would tell him about his diagnosis as he got a little older... I looked for books in the library and Amazon, I couldn't find anything that really worked, most books were either for other neurotypical children explaining what autism was or it was about a character with autism.
