Still working on the Hover indication. The trainers ask us to try to distract the dog from the odor with treats and reward if the dog keep his nose on the container or if he goes back to it after being distracted

@Ave Paasuke You're absolutely right and I noticed she was doing head movement back and forth between the box and my hand and I don't want to reward this chain of behavior. I discussed with the trainer and I will build duration first by keeping my hand with the treat close to the box and reward her steady head above the box expecting more and more duration with time. Then we might introduce the distraction by moving my hand around to make the behavior stronger ! Thanks for your insight it confirmed my doubt ! I'll keep you updated !
