London Stationery Conference May 12 & 13, 2026!
Well… I did a thing. I’ve applied to attend the London Stationery Show in London on May 12 and 13. And yes. I will be staying in a hostel. Yes, a hostel. Yes, bunking with nine other probably fabulous, very young women from May 11 to 15. Founder life, baby. The show itself is free for sellers. It’s a trade show, not open to the public, which makes it even more exciting. Workshops, webinars, exhibits, all the nerdy stationery goodness. Laura and Emma will be there, which makes it even better. I wasn’t going to go. But then I thought… just because I may be shifting away from Amazon doesn’t mean I’m leaving the premium guided journal world. That’s still my lane. That’s still my heart. So this trip is lighting a fire under me to get a proof sample of my third journal ready. It’s a three-month journey for women who feel stuck and weighed down by limiting beliefs and want to step into courage. I’m planning to literally bring the journals in my suitcase and walk the floor, talk to people, soak it all in. I’ve applied for government funding. The only thing I’m holding off on is booking airfare until I get approval. Their fiscal year starts in April and the conference is in May, so I just need to wait for the green light before I pull the trigger. I’m about 99 percent confident it will be approved. Just navigating timing. If anyone here lives nearby or has ever thought about going, this would be such a cool chance to meet in person. Face to face. Real humans. Real journals. Real conversations. Also, for my U.S. friends… four nights in a hostel for under $300 Canadian. The conference is free. You’re basically looking at airfare and food. Who else is even thinking about going? Let’s make this a field trip. ✈️📓

@Sybil Hall @Jewels Sherriff yes I'm in London, hoping to pop in for a short while on one of the days!
A little 12-week year story time...
@Sybil Hall I can't wait to get started with 12-week year tonight! Friends, I’ve done the 12-week year a few times now and it’s a gamechanger, even the journey sets you up for success! I’m part of another group where we use this method too - a small and mighty mastermind and with that community of smart, supportive women cheering me on, I honestly thought anything was possible – and it WAS! For context, I’m a UK- based stationery business owner and at the start of my last 12-week year cycle, I said I wanted to get to a certain sales goal by the end of the 12 weeks - it was a biiiig stretch for me. I've been putting in the work over the 12-weeks (and at the same time applying a bit of 'woo' magic in the form of manifesting that figure, really visualising it, doing affirmations etc). At our 12-week wrap-up session last week, I mentioned to the group that although I didn't quite hit that sales figure at that point, the journey had set me up with systems and action and I learned a lot of lessons along the way (but I also thought that the week wasn't actually done yet so you never know!) Well guess what?? Late last week, someone was in touch about buying 100 units of a product for an event. And wait for it - the value of her order enquiry was the *exact* figure I needed to get to that sales goal I had set at the start of my 12-week year! It's still a little up in the air, but I'm hoping that the person follows through with their order. If they do - then I did it 😊 And if they don't - then I know it's totally possible to do it 😊 But either way, it wouldn't be possible without the encouragement from my mastermind group, having my 12-week structure and getting the work done, bit by bit. Even when it felt like I couldn't see the results just yet 💕
Our 12 Week Year is starting soon
I’m really excited to finally say this out loud. We are starting our 12 Week Year together very soon. I'm adding dates to the calendar now! We’ll officially kick things off on Tuesday, February 17, at 12 PM EST, and between now and then, I’ll be sharing something connected to the 12 Week Year with you almost every day inside this space. Think of these next couple of weeks as a gentle runway. I’ll be dropping tools and ideas to help you slow down, get clear, and shape the next twelve weeks with intention. Nothing overwhelming. Just small pieces that add up. You don’t need to do anything right now. Just stay curious and notice what shows up in your days. So… what is the 12 Week Year? At its core, the 12 Week Year is a way of working that helps you make more progress in 12 weeks than most people do in 12 months. The biggest shift is this: Instead of spreading goals across a long, fuzzy year, we work in a shorter, focused season. That one change alters how you think, plan, and follow through. When the window is smaller, clarity increases. Urgency shows up, but without panic. And momentum becomes easier to build. Here are a few ideas from the book that I’ll come back to again and again: -We focus on execution, not just planning. -We use twelve weeks to create urgency, not stress. -Each week matters because it is a meaningful part of the whole. We choose fewer goals and commit to them fully. And we use systems so we don’t go rogue or burn out halfway through. Most people already work hard. This system helps you work more calmly and intentionally. We’ll be working from the book The 12 Week Year. You’re welcome to grab a copy if that feels supportive, but it’s not required. I’ll also share summaries, videos, and examples so you can fully participate, whether or not you can attend. The shared language we’ll use together You’ll hear these terms a lot inside this space, so I want to name them early. Vision Where you’re going and why it matters to you. This is the why behind the work.
