Why does this even happen. 🤣😩
What is one behavior your child is struggling with right now?
Maybe it's attitude. Maybe it's listening. Maybe it's screens. Maybe it's lying. Maybe it's anger. Drop it in the comments What’s the real struggle in your house right now?

Attitude and listening. 😩
Let’s be real for a moment.
When your child messes up… Do you usually correct them calmly or do you react emotionally first and then regret it later? Parenting will test your patience like nothing else. Be honest in the comments: Calm correction or emotional reaction?

Mostly emotional reaction. I really want to change but I'm failing. It's my every day prayer to steward well this relationship with my children.
Let’s start this day in prayer together.
Father God, We thank You for the children You have entrusted to us. Give us wisdom today to lead them with patience, love, and discipline. Help us not to parent from anger, fear, or our past wounds but from Your truth. Strengthen our homes. Guard our children’s hearts. Give them courage to love what is right and reject what is wrong. Today we declare: Our homes will be filled with peace. Our children will grow in wisdom and character. Our families will serve the Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen. If you’re standing in agreement for your family today, comment: ā€œMy house will serve the Lord.ā€

Discipline
Hi family! Please help a young mother out. Can you please give me ideas of consequences for bad behavior like talking back or being disobedient. I sometimes just try to explain everything to my kids and no consequence and now I see that there's no change in their behavior. I have a 9 years old daughter and 7 years old son.

@Ashley Lunnon Thank you so much. I'm trying to work on myself too so I can be consistent.

@Candace B Thank you so much and I'm glad it was helpful to you too. Sometimes you will be alone and not knowing what to do. Having a platform like this is really helpful to me especially people who love God.
