Preparing for autumn
As the summer winds down (I can't believe it went so fast), I'm getting ready to explore some new scents for the fall. I want to explore fragrances that really make me feel like fall is here (and no, I'm not going to spray myself with a pumpkin spiced latte). What fragrances are you into that really feel like fall to you?

@Jeff Beason I have no clue, I'm excited to try some new fragrances out. I've been looking at bottles like Jazz Club, Habit Rouge and a couple of other Guerlain fragrances as well as Amore Caffe by Mancera.

I may attend with my wife. She's from Bayamon and it is extremely easy to talk her into flying back for a day or 2.
What do you brothers think?
I’ve really been leaning into the clean boy, Mediterranean, linen oceanic look. I got pacific chill a while back and adore it, but I’m looking for a new summer freshie. So far I’m stuck between French Riviera by Mancera or Torino 21 by Xerjoff. I’d love to finally own a Xerjoff, and really enjoy the dna of this one, but it might be redundant as I already have a fragrance occupying the minty herbal fruity slot (pacific chill), so I’m leaning French Riviera now. I need more high quality marine fragrances as well. What do you brothers think?

I'm interested in trying both, but FWIW, since the performance on summer fragrances is typically shorter than fragrances for other seasons, you may have to bathe in whatever you choose in order to get it to last. Since you are going to go through the bottle quickly, go with a cheapie. I'm really enjoying my Afnan Turathi Blue and it is about $30.

The video creator is one of my favorite fragrance channels to follow. He's always mentioning new and lesser known fragrances (as opposed to other influencers that recommend the usual suspects over and over again).

I'd been looking forward to this one. A lot of people I follow had good things to say about it, and I've been on the summer fragrance hunt for a while, so when it showed up I was pretty excited. Yeah, that didn't last. It smells synthetic to me — like, noticeably so. There's this lavender Fabuloso thing going on with a little bubblegum sweetness on top of it. And the projection off my skin was weak on top of everything else. Just not it. I handed it to my thirteen-year-old son and told him to have fun with it. He was pumped. At least somebody's happy. Look, skin chemistry is real and a lot of people I follow genuinely love this one — 4.4 with over 2,300 ratings doesn't lie. So maybe sample it before you write it off. But on me it was a hard pass, and I'm still out here looking for that summer fragrance.

@Lon Chaneyfield thanks for the tip, I have not tried any fragrances yet from Montagne, Alexandria or Dupa. Time to check these out.

@Mike Jermann lol, I went to see if that was an option but my 13 year old already used the entire sample bottle.
